We love a bit of karaoke and last Tuesday we were treated to the next level of the art form at the Grand Final of Battle of the Bars.
The venue was The Two Brewers and it saw six impressive champions representing six venues of the Admiral Duncan, Halfway II Heaven, Mary’s in Cardiff, Via in Manchester, The Kings Arms and The Brewers fighting it out to win a whopping £2000. Hosted by karaoke legend Kevin Walsh the singers had to impress the judges, Drag Idol winner and West end star Vileda Moppe, theatre producer Jules Edwards and Boyz’ own Dave Cross. Each finalist sang two songs and in the end, after much debate the winner was Joe Lloyd Shepherd from Mary’s. Well done to Joe and all the acts, it was a brilliant night.
