New Year at the RVT

There’s a packed few days ahead at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern with not one but two amazing parties to say goodbye to 2018 and hello to 2019. On New Year’s Eve it’s those frisky buggers from Beefmince with their Big Dong… what else? And the next day on New Year’s Day it’s Anthem Retro with big lush dance classics from Andy Almighty and Sean Sirrs plus a live PA from the brilliant Katherine Ellis. Party late at all the Ku venues

All the Ku Group venues, that’s (deep breath) Ku Leicester Square, including Klub and Light Lounge, Little Ku and She Soho will be open extra late to 5am on New Year’s Eve. That’s more amazing DJs, more time in the stylish venues, more yummy cocktails or glasses of bubbly, more time to marvel at what Neiko and Stefanos are nearly wearing and more time to gaze at them bar boys. Celebrating at Halfway II Heaven

There’s a gorgeous weekend ahead at Halfway II Heaven starting on Friday (28 Dec) with cabaret from Tanya Hyde and Lola Lasagne. On Saturday you get the classic line-up of Mrs Moore, Rose Garden and The Vixens with DJ Justin Swift and on Sunday Crystal D’Canter is joined by the brilliant Vileda Moppe. Monday is of course New Year’s Eve which sees a galaxy of stars seeing in 2019 – at the time of writing there were a few tickets left on sale at the bar.

Panda Pop at The Welly

For New Year’s Eve there’s going to be a whiff of day-glow and some giant pop tunes as the one and only Heidi Liscious takes over The Duke of Wellington for her Panda Pop NYE special. It will be pop, disco and more fun than you can shake a bright pink wig at!

Welcome in 2019 at Comptons

The guys at Comptons will be welcoming in 2019 with a big phat sexy party that features DJs Dom Top playing pop hits past and present and James Bartlett delivering house and disco classics. Plus you can watch the NYE fireworks on their huge high definition screens and it’s free entry all night.

Angie Brown is at G&D for NYE

At the George and Dragon in Greenwich on New Year’s Eve The Duchess will be welcoming house music legend Angie Brown. Angie will be belting out hits and club classics such as I’m Gonna Get Ya and Rocking For Myself. It’s a ticketed event, all ticket-holders are guaranteed entry before 11pm. Old Ship New Year’s Eve bash

John and the team at The Old Ship in Limehouse will be welcoming in the New Year in style with DJ Matty B playing all the hits from 8pm to late plus there’s a free buffet to keep you going through to 2019! Grab a £10 ticket from the bar to guarantee entry.

NYE at The Victoria

Pixie and the team at The Victoria in Walthamstow will be hosting their New Year’s Eve party from 9pm with DJ Aaron playing all the biggest hits and taking you into 2019. It’s free entry, but last entry is 11.45pm, so get there early!

Rose & Crown on NYE/NYD

There’s two rather fabulous nights on offer at Ye Olde Rose & Crown in Greenwich starting with their New Year’s Eve party from 8pm on Monday (31 Dec) – it’s free entry if you grab a ticket.  And the very next day on Tuesday (1 Jan) it’s Showtunes Tuesday when you get to sing-along to all your favourite songs from musicals. 

Recon London this Saturday

If you’re over the family fun and will scream if you ever see another Disney film again, then this Saturday (29 Dec) head to Recon London at Fire in Vauxhall where the fun will definitely more ‘adult’.
