Last Sunday afternoon we headed to one of our favourite comfort zones, CK Sunday at Halfway II Heaven.
There are no ordinary afternoons at CK Sunday, but this one was extra special, the girls and their guests were hosting a fundraiser for Cancer Research in memory of their friend Val Holmes, whose friends and family were there as well. Crystal was reunited with a very tanned Kelly and they were on sparkling form, mixing big songs with catching up live on stage with each other and the Halfway family of regulars. We were also treated to fantastic performances from Vileda Moppe and Diane Horan Hall. This was a lovely afternoon in memory of a dear friend for a great cause.
