Sundowners cabaret and Drag Attack

We love Sundowners in Margate, it’s the definition of a fun LGBT venue with loads of amazing nights on offer, just look at this weekend. Friday (25 Jan) is the launch of Drag Attack, a new ‘open drag’ night when they turn over the stage to you. Then on Sunday it’s a whole afternoon of cabaret hosted by Kylie Manogue with Drag With No Name, Cosmic, Nikki Red and Lady Imelda all kicking off at 4pm and you can also get Sunday roasts from £7.50.

In this modern world having a good time shouldn’t be restricted to the weekends and the team at the Boyz Award-winning Chariots sauna can help with that. From Monday to Thursday if you rock up between midday and 3pm you can get the Early Bird £13 entry, down from £20. Wahoo, see you there.

Sweatbox is the Boyz Award-winning sauna and gym located just off Oxford Street. It’s been closed for a while as it’s undergoing a major refit, but it will be open soon and they are offering their annual January sale deal where you can get an annual membership for £350 instead of £700. Email [email protected] to be on the reduced price list.

George and Dragon

We all know that the weekends are packed with treats at the George and Dragon in Greenwich with a host of cabaret greats. But did you know the fun really starts on Thursday at their Piano Bar with Ian Parker on the ivories and this week (24 Jan) he’s joined by the dulcet tones of Crystal D’Canter.

You can be a video star..

Last year the team at the Boyz Award-winning 56 Dean Street clinic launched a hugely successful series of short films on YouTube called The Grass is Always Grindr, with over 400,000 views. They are in the middle of filming a new set and you could be an extra in the series final. This Sunday (27 Jan) from midday to 5pm they will be at Heaven and need a lively crowd for a boxing scene. You can get more details from [email protected]. It should be a really fun day supporting 56 Dean Street and HIV prevention in the gay community of London.
