Bang goes the weekend at The Brewers

There’s another action-packed weekend at the Two Brewers down in Clapham this weekend, kicking off on Thursday with Miss Penny on stage along with DJ Liam Chaplin. On Friday it’s Brighton babe Drag With No Name in the Cabaret Bar while Backroom hosts its UV Party with more commercial house and pop remixes in the Club Bar. On Saturday night there’s another top drag act taking you through to the early hours, while on Sunday your trio of queens are Mary Mac, Miss Jason and Sandra from 6.30pm.

Meet a Red Hot model at Prowler

The Red Hot calendars have been causing a storm ever since they hit the scene several years ago and now you’ve got the chance to meet some of the sizzling models featured on its very pages when they visit Prowler’s Soho store on Friday (15 Feb). For one hour only from 6pm you’ll be able to queue up to meet the guys and have your Red Hot goods signed. Get there early fellas! See Britain on Film:LGBT Britain

As part of Camden LGBT Forum’s LGBT History Month festivities, next Saturday (23 Feb) you can join the Out4Film team as they celebrate LGBT lives as portrayed on screen with a showing of the documentary Britain on Film: LGBT Britain, a moving and fascinating collection of films spanning 1909 to 1994. The programme documents a century in which homosexuality went from crime to Pride via decades of profoundly courageous activism. A panel-led discussion will follow the screening and it all takes place at the Hugh Cubitt Centre, 48 Collier Street, N1 9QZ.

Chariots Vauxhall’s new look

Your weekend at Halfway

Another huge weekend of fun kicks off at the small but perfectly formed Halfway II Heaven on Thursday with more karaoke with Kevin Walsh from 8pm. The working week ends in style with Charlie Hides and Mary Mac on stage at 8pm and 10pm respectively, while on Saturday it’s a drag marathon starring Mrs Moore at 3pm, Rose Garden at 5pm and The Vixens from 10pm. And Sundays belong to delicious duo Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild plus DJ Justin Swift.

Miss Penny is at The Yard Coventry

The Midlands crowd is treated to a show from local gal Miss Penny this Friday (15 Feb). She’ll be on stage for a couple of hours of fun, comedy and ditties. Buy her a few dozen gins and who knows what kind of a night you’re in for?!

New play [title of show] is in the Studio space at the Above The Stag Theatre now and it runs until 10 March. The show tells the story of Jeff and Hunter, who have just three weeks to write a musical. They recruit some friends and pull off the impossible – being selected for a prestigious musical theatre festival – but that’s when the egos start to clash, and everything begins to unravel… It’s a great little musical comedy that’s well worth a visit! LGBT dance class Werk It

Werk It is a new high intensity dance fitness class that incorporates a mixture of body weight, plyometrics and compound exercises, followed by a high energy dance routine. Cybil’s House is back at The White Swan

CrossFit-mad, six-foot-seven tall drag queen Cybil War is back at the White Swan in Limehouse for another round of her hugely successful Cybil’s House this Saturday (16 Feb) from 10pm. This month’s theme is Moulin Rouge with performances from The House of War, Margo Marshall, Mahatma Khandi, Johnny Bones, H.P. Loveshaft and many more.

Liberty at Deptford Heritage

Running until the end of the month, new play Liberty is about the life of civil rights activist Kath Duncan and is part of the Deptford Heritage Festival.
