Mother usually knows best and last Sunday we most definitely found that to be true at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern.
We were at the cherished Vauxhall hot spot for the second Mother’s Best, the monthly adventure in cabaret and clubbing from the team behind Beefmince. This time we were treated, and they were both genuine treats, to performances from Drag Idol champs Felix Le Freak and Son of a Tutu, both on sparkling form with great songs and lots of laughs. Following the shows we hit the dance floor as both Silverhook and Jo Bunny span the hits. It was another marvellous Mother’s outing and we’ll be back on the first Sunday in April.
