Friday nights in Clapham are always fairly full on at the Two Brewers, but last weekend was off the scale even by their high standards.
There were two major events happening, starting in the Club Bar with the Lip Sync War Semi Final where the gorgeous Marsha Mallow introduced eight performers each lip-syncing to a song of their choice for the judges and the crowd. It was a tough decision, but in the end Shay G’Day went through to the Grand Final. Back in the Cabaret Bar, Ruggercub were celebrating their fifth birthday with none other than US drag superstar Vanity Vox who was hilarious. We, and we suspect everyone else, had a brilliant time – thank God for Fridays.
