Duke of Welly Spice Girls celebration

You’ve probably noticed that a certain girl band will be playing live at Wembley Stadium this weekend. It all comes to a Union Jack wearing, girl power climax on Saturday (15 Jun) and to mark the occasion, the Duke Of Wellington’s very own Posh Spice (he told us to say that), DJ David Robson will be hosting a Spice Diva night at the Soho venue from 9pm. You’ll get all the Girl’s hits, a selection of solo bangers and a mix of 90s tunes to boot. Zig a zig ah!

Pride’s Got Talent Cabaret Final

Last Sunday was the first of the two 2019 Pride’s Got Talent finals, when Henry Newbury was chosen as the winner of the music section. This Sunday (16 Jun) it’s the turn of the cabaret acts to take over the Apollo Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue, under the watchful eye of host Michael Twaits, and the judging panel. This will be a fantastic evening packed with new talent and you can order tickets online now via prideinlondon.org

Clapham Spice

This Friday night (14 Jun) those frisky London Titans FC are back at The Two Brewers and they are coming over all girl power with Spice Up Your Ball. The cabaret will come from our favourite flame haired tart… yep, it’s Mary ‘Halliwell’ Mac plus all the hits from DJs Demon and Liam Chaplin. This fun and friendly club night is the perfect chance to try out your Spice Girls drag look, and impress the gay footballers.

This week at Above The Stag

This weekend is your last chance to see the current two plays at the Boyz Award-winning Above The Stag Theatre in Vauxhall. On Saturday

Delicious drinks at Rupert Street

The hugely popular Rupert Street Bar has recently re-opened after a really rather swish and sexy makeover. It’s open each and every day, packed out with a lively crowd and DJs at the weekend. They also offer some tempting drinks deals every day from midday to 8pm, including two cocktails for £12 and a bottle of Champagne for just £25. Make ours a large one.

#WimbledonRainbow

Last week a rainbow appeared in Wimbledon, but this wasn’t a Judy Garland tribute act or because of the rain. It’s a new rainbow road crossing to celebrate the town’s inclusivity, to welcome CMYK the new LGBT+ bar which is located by the crossing and support this year’s Pride in London events.

Cabaret at The Old Ship

There’s two amazing cabaret turns on offer this weekend at The Old Ship in Limehouse. On Saturday (15 Jun) the laughs come as fast as the shots when Miss Jason takes to the stage and on Sunday it’s Drag Idol champ Tracy La Bouche (nee Barlow) who’s providing the chuckles.

Enjoy the Afterglow

Afterglow is the play by S. Asher Gelman about the impact of a third person on two gay guys in an open relationship.  The playwright told Boyz that he wrote the play to ‘help dissolve the marriage between sex and shame’. It’s on now and until 20 July at The Southwark Playhouse.

Chariots weekend

Chariots the award-winning gay sauna located in Vauxhall is open all weekend and is the perfect place to let off steam… see what we did there? From noon on Friday to 8am on Monday, that’s 68 hours, you can enjoy all they have to offer.

FemmeDaddy at Ku Bar

There’s a hot new Tuesday night in town and you can find this hotness at Klub downstairs at Ku Leicester Square. The new night is called Femme Daddy and Ku PR prince Stefanos told us, a Femme Daddy is “typically found in the leather/kink community, a femme who dons lipstick and a crisp shirt, personifying a Daddy style and demeanour. Think powerful femmes in suits, leather and/or lace, a gown with a harness, Joan Jett’s swagger with Madonna’s sensual domineering persona, gender bending dapper looks”. They are encouraging everyone to dress to impress and it all kicks off at 9pm.
