Pride in London

Pride weekend at The Two Brewers

The Two Brewers may not be located in the actual West End, but the Clapham cabaret mothership is right at the heart of Pride for many of us. There’s a glorious and camp weekend ahead including some of your very favourite cabaret acts and special guests including Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus. Here’s the lowdown…

Lola Lasagne

Thursday 4 July

Fresh from celebrating 30 years in the biz at this very venue just a few weeks ago, the wonderful Ms Lola Lasagne is back in her spiritual home to entertain the Clapham gays and their allies in this warm up to your big Pride in London weekend.

Ruggercub and The Vivienne

Friday 5 July

Those Ruggercub boys are back with another huge party on the eve of Pride in London this Friday, plus the amazing Vivenne – appointed by RuPaul himself as ‘The Official UK Ambassador for RuPaul’s Drag Race’ – will be on stage at midnight. And if that isn’t enough, DJs Demon and Liam Chaplin will be playing tunes in both the Cabaret and Club Bars until 4am.

Pride Night with Mary and Michelle

Saturday 6 July

On Pride in London night the party continues back down in Clapham with Scottish starlets Mary Mac and former Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus, who makes another return to the venue following two hugely successful appearances. You can expect all the hits and that amazing voice plus Mary dragging her haggis around the stage like it’s alive! Music comes thick and fast from resident DJs Demon and Chris Brogan too. Entry is free before 9pm, £8 before 11pm or £9 after.

The Power of 4

Sunday 7 July

Yes you had a good Pride, but the party needn’t stop now, and it doesn’t, actually, because the Power of Four is back at the Brewers from 5pm. Myra DuBois kicks things off like only she can at 5.30pm, and she’s followed by Miss Jason at 7.30pm, Mary Mac at 9pm and Sandra at 11pm. Phew!

The Two Brewers, 114 Clapham High Street, Clapham, London, SW4 7UJ.
