The Ku Group comprises five amazing venues, Ku Leicester Square, Klub, Little Ku, She Soho and the seriously stylish Light Lounge. This month we take a look at the gorgeous cocktail-infused venue above the Lisle Street bar.
The Light Lounge is something extra, something special. It’s the perfect destination if you want a cooler vibe than the dazzling chaos and pumped party of the main Ku venues.
It’s located above Ku Leicester Square on Lisle Street, where Soho meets Chinatown. From Tuesday to Thursday it has its own entrance on Newport Place, but on Fridays and Saturdays you can also enter from within the main Ku bar. The bar is decorated in a New York lounge style with its own London twist and has a drinks menu to die for. Treat yourself to their delicious bespoke cocktails or your favourite classic, premium beers, wines and spirits. Plus they have DJs every Friday and Saturday to get you in the mood, maybe to make the short trek downstairs to Klub.
The latest news is that there are now amazing food snacks available in The Light Lounge from the East. They have teamed up with their neighbour Bun House to provide the perfect evening snack to accompany cocktails: fluffy steamed buns Cantonese-style. Choose from a selection of delicious buns and have them delivered straight to your table, nice and hot. Plus don’t forget you can book The Light Lounge for private parties and events via the website.
