Horror and Spice at The RVT 

Brace for impact kids, it’s another big weekend at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern which starts on Thursday (29 Aug) with those twisted guys at Pop Horror and their annual Summer Fate, full of astounding performances and surprises. Friday night is the much loved Spice Up Your Life from Push The Button, which includes a Spice Girls themed bus ride from The Retro Bar as well as the main club night, check PTB Facebook for info. Saturday belongs to the might ducks at Duckie and at Sunday Social it’s a welcome return to Drag With No Name plus DJs Simon Le Vans and Craig Jones. 

Treat yourself at Ku

Don’t panic, there’s still plenty of summer left to enjoy and where better than at one of the gorgeous Ku venues… there’s Ku Leicester Square on Lisle Street, complete with the stylish Light Lounge and funky Klub, hot boys, cool DJs and more or Little Ku on Frith Street, a great place to people watch and flirt with them boys. And don’t forget the mega cool She Soho for the girls, fierce DJs and a party vibe. 

The Two Brewers weekend

There’s a fantastic mix of cabaret and DJs this weekend down in Clapham at The Two Brewers starting on Thursday (29 Aug) with the always sweet Marsha Mallow and Liam Chaplin. Friday those frisky London Titans are back for a Britney Themed Ball with cabaret from Drag Race UK star Sum Ting Wong and DJ Demon and on Saturday it’s the gorgeous Tanya Hyde. Sunday is The Power of Four and it sees the return of Myra DuBois following her sell out shows in Edinburgh plus Miss Jason, Mary Mac and Sandra. 

XXL Construction

Sometimes you just have to get a man in… This Saturday at Pulse there will be all kinds of banging and erecting as it’s XXL Construction. The work soundtrack comes from DJs Bobby Blanco, Alex Logan and Paul Morrell, with David Robson and Joe Egg in the Fur Lounge.

RuPaul Stars at Sundowners

There’s two stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race at Sundowners this weekend starting with The Vivienne from the forthcoming UK series one on Friday (30 Aug) and on Saturday the multi Boyz Award-winning Charlie Hides will be at the Margate hot spot. 

Playground at Circa The Club

Those darling boys, girls and everyone else at Circa The Club have a new twist on Fridays for us. This Friday (30 Aug) is Playground, a multimedia, gender-fluid explosion of sexy fun with DJs Matt Bogard, Michael Maddison and Tafkanik and performers Chrissy Darling, The Dentists, Big Baby and The Balloon Man. It’s open from 10pm to 5am and check the club’s Facebook page for guest list discounts. 

Panda Pop at Duke of Welly

If you want something bright and fun on a Friday night then we recommend a trip to The Duke of Wellington. Each week from 9pm that goddess of day-glow Heidi Liscious is on the decks mixing up the pop bangers at Panda Pop.

Above The Stag is the UK’s only full time LGBT+ Theatre and there’s a host of amazing shows on offer at the Vauxhall venue. We are in the last few days of Closer to Heaven in the main theatre while Making Porn has a full week left. Cabaret at London Hotel Southampton

The London Hotel is a fabulous LGBT+ venue and cabaret hub located on the south coast in Southhampton with something fabulous on every night. This weekend on Friday (30 Aug) they welcome RuPaul Drag Race UK star Sum Ting Wong, while Saturday has singer Sam Solace and on Sunday the tasty Cherry Liquor. 

Halfway’s line-up

There’s always something fun and a big warm welcome happening at Halfway II Heaven, just look at the line up this weekend. Friday (30 Aug) you get both Mrs Moore and Lola Lasagne on the hallowed stage while Saturday sees more from Mrs Moore plus Rose Garden at 5pm, Tanya Hyde at 8pm and those bad girls, The Vixens at 10pm with DJ hunk Justin Swift. Sunday, belongs, of course to Crystal and Kelly and on Monday there’s a special show from the dishy #Joe. 

Space Age Love Songs at The Two Brewers

Space Age Love Songs is a science fiction queer love story that celebrates the music of the 1980s and it opens at The Two Brewers from next Friday (6 Sep). Written by TL Wiswell it’s the story of a goth girl obsessed with Gary Numan, Heaven 17 and films like Bladerunner and Flash Gordon, and it’s packed with great tunes and amazing performers. CJ’s Piano at The White Swan 

If you haven’t been to The White Swan on a Thursday, then get a grip and head down there. CJ’s Piano Bar with hostess Jackie DeRipper is loads of fun, CJ plays the piano and we all get a chance to sing… Tell CJ we sent you. 

Torch Song at The Turbine 

The gay classic Torch Song is on now at the brand new and really rather fabulous Turbine Theatre near Battersea Power Station until 13 October. Get your tickets at theturbinetheatre.co.uk.

Double trouble at The Old Ship

There’s two of the best this weekend down in Limehouse at The Old Ship. On Saturday (31 Aug) is the big voice of Miss Terry tour and Mrs Moore makes a welcome rerun on Sunday.
