Power House at Circa The Club 

Power House is the aptly named new Saturday night at Circa The Club open each week from 10pm to 4am. Every Saturday night the state of the art venue is packed out with a lively crowd, all loving the world-class house DJs and the jaw dropping go-go boys, plus don’t forget you can get discount entry wristbands at the super cool Circa Soho. 

It’s a Knockout at Halfway 

It’s a Knockout is the cabaret talent contest with a difference. Happening on Tuesdays in October at Halfway II Heaven, and hosted by the one and only Bette Rinse it features six new drag performers who are set new tasks or new themes, with one leaving every week, until we are left after the final with a winner to follow the likes of Poppycock, Felix Le Freak and Ripley. It’s marvellous fun.

Autumn Ball For The Disabled LGBTQ

The guys from LGBT Disabled Queer and Here are throwing their Autumn Ball on Monday 30 September at The Two Brewers. Hosted by Rose Garden it will feature cabaret from performers of every kind including Sugar Cube, Ebony Rose Dark, Sasha La Whore, Amarta Anna Whore, Maria Hertz and more. Tickets from eventbrite.co.uk  

Cabaret at Old Ship

If you want some ‘old fashioned East End’ laughs then we recommend a trip to see John and the gang at The Old Ship in Limehouse, where there’s always a warm welcome and fun to be had. At the weekends they have some of the biggest names in UK drag, just look at these: Friday 27 September it’s Lady Imelda, the next day Dave Lynn and on Sunday Tracy Le Bouche. In October you get Charlie Hides on Saturday 5th, Dusty Springs (Sun 6th), Myra DuBois is there on Saturday 12th and Miss Terry Tour the following day. There’s loads more to come including a Halloween special on Saturday 26 October with Baga Chipz. 

Heels of Hell are coming 

Just when you thought it was safe to head back to a local theatre, Heels of Hell, the ultimate drag Halloween show is back in the UK for a brand new 2019 tour. Starring Drag Race superstars Sharon Needles, Alaska, Adore Delano, Miz Cracker, Latrice Royale and more, including a secret surprise guest, this will really put the willies up you. They are playing London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast and Dublin all starting on 17 October. Get your tickets at holyt.net

Recon are back at The RVT

Those frisky buggers from Recon are back for another Fetish themed cabaret night at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Wednesday 9 October. Hosted by London’s rancid punk horror starlet Baby Lame, there will be games and performances from some of London’s top cabaret artists, with all acts having a unique twist and different take on fetish.

 

Rooster is launching 

Thursday 3 October is the launch date for Rooster, a sassy and sexy new monthly gay night in Soho. This exciting and fun night is at Club 49 on Greek Street from 9.30pm until ‘the cock crows’. We are promised amazing DJs, including Guilherme and Alexis Knox plus stunning hosts and some surprises along the way. Sounds cracking to us. 

Cabaret at Sundowners

If you have never experienced the crazy house that is Sundowners in Margate, then we recommend jumping a train and heading down there PDQ. It’s a lovely LGBT+ venue where everyone is welcome and it’s always loads of fun. Plus there’s always loads on including Saturday 28 September, The Boy George Experience, Saturday 5 October a Disney themed fancy dress party with cash prizes and cabaret from Victoria Sponge, and from 3 October they are showing RuPaul’s Drag Race UK every Thursday at 8pm.

 

Pink Ball at The London Hotel 

The London Hotel is a marvellous LGBT+ venue located in Southampton where there’s something for everyone. Aside from all the usual fun stuff and cabaret, on Saturday 5 October it’s their Pink Ball 2019 charity fundraiser. Hosted by Mary Mac there’s also TV star Bobby Davro and winner of Stars in Their Eyes, the brilliant Jacquii Cann as Alison Moyet. Tickets are on sale at thepinkball.co.uk. 

Pam Ann back at The Brewers 

Her last shows there were both sold out and hilarious and now the god damn queen of inappropriate, our favourite long haul, Pam Ann is back at The Two Brewers on Friday 18 October. She’s glamorous, outrageous and never, ever apologies. Tickets on sale now at the2brewers.com. 

Out at Clapham screening and Q&A of Judy

Out at Clapham is the popular LGBTQ+ film club based at The Clapham Picture House and their next programme is really something special. On Wednesday 2 October at 6pm they are screening Judy, the brand new biopic of Judy Garland starring Renée Zellweger.
