West End Bares celebrates its 10th birthday with Stripped

West End Bares, the theatre industry’s annual fundraiser for the Make A Difference Trust which supports people living with and affected by HIV, is celebrating its 10th birthday performance with West End Bares: Stripped at The Troxy in East London on Sunday 13 October.

The show will revisit some of the much loved and classic strips from its 10-year history. Taking one number from each year and reimagining it to match the scale and spectacle of the Troxy venue, this year’s show will see returning favourites from all previous editions as well as hot new talent from the West End and beyond. Featuring phenomenal singers – alongside all the flesh audiences have come to expect – with over 100 performers from the West End and beyond.

The show will take inspiration from the West End Bares’ first show Strip Britannia as well as exciting moments from shows like All The Fun Of The Bare and Ruby Strippers. West End Bares has raised over £300,000 for Make A Difference since 2010.

Tickets for West End Bares are on sale now and are priced at £25 – £80. Tickets are available from troxy.co.uk or madtrust.org.uk. Troxy is at 490 Commercial Road, London E1 0HX.

Afterglow at Waterloo East Theatre

From Thursday 17 October

Afterglow by S. Asher Gelman caused a sensation when it ran earlier this year at the Southwark Playhouse and now it’s back for a second London run at The Waterloo East Theatre with a new cast. The play is a steamy, stripped down study of intimacy and what happens when a gay couple, Josh and Alex invite Darius to share their bed for one night and the consequences when a new intimate connection develops.
