The Music of Judy Garland with Denise Nolan

Friday 22 November, 7pm to 9pm

Nolan sister and West End star, Denise Nolan is bringing her acclaimed show to The RVT. The Music of Judy Garland, features a live seven piece band led by West End Musical Director Dave Bintley. The show includes classics such as The Man That Got Away, Stormy Weather, Zing Went The Strings and the timeless classic Over The Rainbow. We asked Denise about this show at The RVT and she told us “I think many LGBTQ people feel Judy was a kindred spirit, In her interpretation of those wonderful lyrics, the truthful way she sang and her gay fans have remained very loyal to her. She had a deep need to be loved and gave her all onstage, she was most comfortable with her audience who were never afraid of showing how much they loved her. The Nolans have had tremendous support over the years from the LGBTQ community and I am very excited to be performing my Judy Garland show at The RVT.”
