New cocktails at Ku
As if the hot boys and cool tunes weren’t enough the team at the Ku Group have some delicious new cocktails perfect for these autumn nights. There’s a new set of autumn and winter cocktails including at Little Ku and She Pimms & Blackberry Spice, Sloe Gin Nigroni and Winter Mojito plus a set of new Spritz delights at Lisle Street and Klub including Aperol Winter Spritz, Melonade Winter Spritz and Spiced Rum Spritz and best of all, they are all just £6 each every day until 7pm for Happy hour. This weekend at The RVT
There’s another box of delights on offer this week at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern starting on Thursday (10 Oct) with the inaugural Mr Boylesque UK Finals hosted by Lolo Brow with some of UK’s best Boylesque artists as they battle it out for the chance to win the 2019 title. Friday night there’s two events starting early with Hot Gays starring Martin Dixon and Gareth Edwardian in their hit Edinburgh show and that’s followed by the return of Frankie Goes to Vauxhall featuring a great mix of 80s pop, electronic and trash gems. Saturday belongs to Duckie with Amy Lamé plus The Wifes as Krays, Mamoru Triguchi and Jess love. On Sunday your Queen of Cabaret is the demure demi-goddess from Scotland, Mary Mac plus DJs Simon Le Vans and Sean Sirrs.
Relax at The Duke of Welly
If you’ve had a tough week at the office or want somewhere chilled, but fun to hang out at the weekend, why not pop in to see Oliver and his team at The Duke of Wellington. Apart for the cold beers and hot bears you also can enjoy bingo with Sheila Simmonds every Tuesday, their fun pub quiz with Martha D’Arthur or Topsie Redfern every Wednesday and amazing DJs at the weekend such as Holstar, David Robson and Heidi Licious.
Baga at The Brewers
There’s a double portion of Chipz on offer this weekend at The Two Brewers starting on Thursday (10 Oct) when Baga Chipz teams up with Tia Kofi to host the screening of episode two of Drag Race UK, which of course she’s in, also later Sandra will be performing as well. On Friday Baga’s back for more cabaret fun and on Saturday it’s the Iron Bru queen, Mary Mac. On Sunday it’s The Power of Four with Myra DuBois, Miss Jason, Mary and Sandra.
Cabaret stars at Halfway
There’s something special on every night at Halfway II Heaven in Charing Cross starting on Thursday (10 Oct) as they screen Drag Race UK and that’s followed by karaoke with Kevin Walsh. Friday means there’s two fantastic acts, at 8pm Topsie Redfern and at 10pm the fab Son of a Tutu while Saturday is even more packed with Mrs Moore from 4pm, Rose Garden at 6pm, Miss Penny at 8pm and those Boyz Award winners, The Vixens at 10pm plus hunky DJ Justin Swift. Sunday belongs to Crystal and Kelly at CK Sunday and on Monday Tia from the Vixens hosts her hilarious quiz The Weakest Link with Bette Rinse in a special show on Tuesday.
Old Ship treats
This weekend John and his team at The Old Ship have two amazing acts for your cabaret delight. On Saturday (12 Oct) it’s the yummy sweetie that is Marsha Mallow and on Sunday the drag queen with the huge voice, Miss Terry Tour.
Three plays at Above The Stag
Right now there’s three very different shows offer at Above The Stag, the UK’s only full time LGBT+ theatre. Opening this week is The Good Scout by Glenn Chandler inspired by true events that happened in the late 1930s when members of the Hitler Youth were invited to the UK. You can also see the last few days of Now & Then the gorgeous musical about a gay couple’s life over 40 years plus there’s also Velvet written by and starring Tom Ratcliffe about a young gay actor with a moral dilemma. Three nights at Circa The Club
There’s now three amazing nights on offer at Circa The Club. Thursdays start with a screening of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and carry on with pop goes until 3am. Fridays are Vibe with amazing DJs and performers of every kind and on Saturday it’s all about this hot guys at Power House… Phew!
This weekend at The London Hotel
If you’re on the south coast near Southampton then we recommend a visit to the brilliant London Hotel. They have cool stuff on every night including karaoke with Cherry Liquor on Thursdays, this Friday (11 Oct) you get Miss Jason and DJ Lucina Lashes, Saturday is DJ Neil and on Sunday there’s cabaret from Doctor Beverley Ballcrusher.
Fun at Sundowners
The gang at Sundowners in Margate will be screening Drag Race UK on Thursday (10 Oct) on their big screen with free popcorn. On Saturday there’s world-class comedy form the always hilarious Miss Jason on stage at 11pm.
