Halloween at The Brewers 

Something scary is stirring down in Clapham… and we don’t mean running into Sandra on the Common. There’s a bunch of Halloween themed nights on offer starting on Friday (25 Oct) when the London Titans FC present Ouija BALL, a spooky Halloween themed night with frights and screams from Danny Beard. On Saturday it’s Nightmare in Clapham aka The Brewers annual Halloween fancy dress party, with Poppycock at 9pm and CK later, you could win up to £300 for the best costume plus it’s a brilliant night out. On Sunday the Power of Four becomes ‘spooky and kooky’ it’s The Brewers Family tribute to The Addams, with Miss Jason, Baga Chipz, Mary Mac and Sandra… And next week on Wednesday (30 Oct) and Saturday, the gang from Boyz Award-winning Two Box Productions present a special Buffy themed show in the Club Bar, tickets from outoutsavvy.com  

Voodoo nights at Ku 

If dark magic is your thing then we recommend a visit to Ku Bar this Saturday (26 Oct) when they will unleash their Voodoo Halloween party. Ku and Klub on Lisle Street will be decorated to death and those bar boys will be wearing body paint and not much else… and the venue will be open extra late until 5am. Over at Little Ku and She Soho there’s a double theme of Heaven & Hell… is it true the devil has the best boys?!? 

Frights and magic at The RVT 

Halloween is split over two weeks at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern with something for everyone, alive or dead or undead. This Friday (25 Oct) the freaks from Push The Button present Lizzoween, a pop celebration of scary anthems and modern pop divas with performances and surprises. Saturday is Duckie with guests Scott Capurro and Harry Clayton-Wight giving us his tribute to Results by Liza Minelli. Every day is Halloween for Myra DuBois and she’ll be casting her spell at Sunday Social along with DJs Simon Le Vans and Chris Brogan. Monday is Big Bingo and Tuesday the amazing Bar Wotever. On Wednesday (30 Oct) there’s a special magical quiz night for Witches, Wizards, Squibs and yes even Muggles, The Quizzarding World is a Potter themed night with added cabaret and fundraising for Cabaret vs Cancer. On Halloween itself, who else, but the monsters from Pop Horror with their Frightanic – Nautical Nightmare with a whole freakshow of glorious performers. Halfway II Halloween

The bats and ghouls at Halfway II Heaven have already decorated the windows of the fabulous cabaret bunker in glorious Halloween style and they have a monster collection of cabaret acts this weekend. Your Friday night frights are Poppycock and Titti La Camp while Saturday sees Mary Mac from 4pm, Rose Garden, Sum Ting Wong and at 1pm, the witches of Charing Cross, aka The Vixens with their familiar, DJ Justin Swift. On Sunday, there’s double bubble toil and trouble with CK and on Monday (28 Oct) The Vixens are back to host a special Halloween Lip-Sync War from 8.30pm. 

Duke of Welly’s Monster Mash 

This year Oliver and his team of bat boys and girls are going back in time with a gorgeous retro vibe for Halloween. On Saturday (26 Oct) it’s time to throw those spooky shapes at the Monster Mash Party with Queen of the Damned DJs, Holestar providing the classic pop soundtrack. 

Baga’s risen at Old Ship 

As if Halloween in Limehouse wasn’t scary enough already, John and his henchmen at The Old Ship have raised the Queen of Dead Elegance herself, Baga Chipz for their Halloween Party which is this Saturday (26 Oct), she’s on stage at 9pm. 

Above The Stag Panto tickets on sale now

The Above The Stag pantos are always something very special, taking the art of the adult panto to the next level with impressive sets and productions, not to mention hilarious scripts and a clutch of original songs. This year’s show is Pinocchio – No Strings Attached and it promises to be the biggest and best yet. It opens on 19 November and tickets are on sale now at abovethestag.com. 

White Swan gets Fussy for Halloween

This Saturday (26 Oct) the gang at The White Swan are hosting the first of two Halloween parties this year. Fussy present their Haunted Queer Party with Wanda Cookie plus Vic Sin (from NYC), Stella Marbles, The Crossy and Bee’ Jamming and we are promised drag shows, costume contest and much more. The party starts at 10pm and it’s just £10 on the door, or from £5 in advance from outsavvy.com. Plus there’s another Halloween party next Saturday (2 Nov) at The Swan from Pop Curious. 

Watch Drag Race UK at Circa The Club

There’s a rather fabulous new Thursday night at the amazing Circa The Club. We Love Thursdays starts with a special screening of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and this Thursday (24 Oct) it’s hosted by Cheryl Hole and is followed by the best pop music in town taking you through to 3am. How gorgeous.

London Hotel frolics

The weekend at London Hotel in Southampton starts with Friday Frolics features cabaret from Lucina Lashes and Miss Thunderpussy. On Saturday it’s all the best tunes from DJ Stuart J and on Sunday there’s more cabaret, this time from the totally bonkers Drag With No Name. 

Showtune Spooktacular at Quebec 

This Sunday (27 Oct) the fabulous Miss Minnie Bar presents a Showtune Spooktacular at The Quebec in aid of Mind, the charity that works for better mental health. The show starts at 5pm downstairs in the Piano Bar and you can expect Halloween and spooky themed musical numbers from Broadway, the West End plus pop music, all accompanied by a masterful pianist and featuring some very special guests.Tickets from eventbrite.co.uk 

Halloween party at Sundowners 

Down in darkest Margate this Saturday (26 Oct) Devil Duncan and his minions will be throwing their always wicked Halloween party. Hosted by Lana  Evoli, this frightening night will feature Danny Beard and Davina De Campo, who is in Drag Race UK in case you didn’t know. Plus you could win £100 for the best costume.
