Anxy presents its artists showcase at O2 Academy2, Islington: Review by Stephen Vowles

When it comes to showcasing their artists’ roster in a very fitting venue, Martyn Coleman and his team from Anxy have their finger firmly on the trigger and cleverly pace the show to clearly demonstrate the acts they represent and the style of music on offer. There is everything here from high octane disco to smooth jazz to country and western to love songs with a message – all delivered with an air of true showmanship and sophistication. The evening saw Laura Harding sing The Day It Rained Forever, James Follett perform his latest track, Phatt Matt’s All That She Wants, Ticky’s I Touch Myself, Karma and Lankz, Beanie, all performed their latest tunes. Sandi Bogle – Gogglebox star – performed her new single Independent Women, Lamont and his band proving why they became Pride’s Got Talent Winner 2018, Chasing Deer also from Pride’s Got Talent, S.Q.U.A.D Goals, Sean Miley Moore (X Factor) Gingzilla, America’s Got Talent and cabaret award-winning star Cazeleon, Oli London – K-pop chart topper – all at the top of their respective games.

There is an abundance of talent here and each deserve that magical break, that stepping stone to further success and with Anxy as the promoter that offers such a platform to perform on, that further success is within touching distance. A very polished and professional night of wonderful UK talent.
