There’s a series of events this year around World AIDS Day at the Boyz Award-winning Two Brewers in Clapham. The team will be rising money for various brilliant organisations including local charity Wandsworth Oasis, The Food Chain, National AIDS Trust and more. Here’s what’s on the list.
The Red Ribbon Ball
Thursday 28 November, 7pm to 11pm
The team from local AIDS charity Wandsworth Oasis present their annual World AIDS day fundraiser, The Red Ribbon Ball in the Club Bar at The Brewers. Hosted by Mrs Moore and Jason Rosam with performances from music legend Tom Robinson plus TVTV, Emma Lindars, Lucian Jack and more. It promises to be a fantastic night. WAD Comedy Night
Friday 29 November, 7.30pm to late
There’s a brilliant line-up of stand-up talent at this special World AIDS Day Comedy Night in the Club Bar on Friday 29th. Headed by Stephen K Amos, you also get Dance Baptiste, Rosie Jones, Sophie Duker and Ed Knight with all proceeds going to The Food Chain, and The Maudsley Charity. Tickets are £16 via the2brewers.com
National AIDS Trust Fundraising Night
Saturday 30 November, 5pm to 4am
There’s no actual fundraising event on tonight, but you get cabaret from both Poppycock and Marsha Mallow and the team will be shaking those money makers for the National AIDS Trust all night.
World AIDS Day
Sunday 1 December, 5pm to 2am
The annual Two Brewers World AIDS Day event is always a fantastic cabaret celebration that raises a lot of money for Wandsworth Oasis. Hosted by the marvellous Miss Penny, you also get shows from Poppycock, Sandra, Lady Imelda, Tanya Hyde, Karla Bear and Karen Williams as Elsie. Plus don’t forget Pam Ann is back with a special Christmas show in the Club Bar tonight.
