Over £150,000 was raised for 35 HIV charities across the UK at the 10th annual World AIDS Day Red Run in Victoria Park hosted by Positive East. Sir Ian McKellen cut the start ribbon joined by former Labour MEP Lord Michael Cashman. Iconic drag band Denim performed along with The Eagle and Horse Meat Disco providing the music. Sir Ian McKellen said, “In the days when politics seems to divide us we stand here united to support our friends living with HIV and AIDS.”
