Opening Times: Winter Pride Music Festival heads for The Scala this Friday

The Winter Pride Music Festival 2020 is heading for The Scala on Friday 31 January as over one thousand clubbers take over the King’s Cross venue as this epic night celebrates its five fantastic frosty years. Winter Pride is a celebration of the capital’s best LGBT+ club nights, drag shows and performers across four floors including live queer rappers, trans performance artists and break dancing shows.

This year’s event is raising money for EuroPride’s emergency fund for Poland.

Already signed up for this year’s party are Mariah & Friendz, Gay Garage, the Cocoa Butter Club, R & She, Woof Cabaret, Nite Dykez, Super Drama and The Meat Boys. Special guest DJs include Michelle Manetti, Jacob Aria, Chaka Khan’t and Reece Spooner.

Rooms include House of Love, Disco Inferno and Pop Til You Drop.

Winter-themed dress up and fancy dress is optional but always encouraged. There are free make-over stations with face paints, body paints, glitters and neons. Plus get in early and enjoy 2-4-1 on selected drinks between 9pm – 10pm.

The Winter Pride Music Festival is totally inclusive, and all are welcome. The organisers say, “Winter Pride is about bringing all corners of the scene together for one big show-packed disco shakedown for a good cause”.

EuroPride’s emergency fund is helping the homophobic crisis in Poland after events in the country were attacked last year and city mayors attempted to ban equality marches.
