Oliver and his friendly team welcome you back to the Duke of Welly for your first nights out post lockdown

Oliver Blatherwick from the Duke of Wellington tells us more about his plans for reopening from this Saturday in the friendly and welcoming Soho venue

Oliver Blatherwick, General Manager of the central Soho Duke of Wellington, has been in touch to let us know that the bar will be reopening under social distancing rules on Saturday. The Duke of Welly already has an epic outside area which will no doubt be perfect for the new rules but also Oliver is offering tables inside which can be booked on the website.

Oliver told us: “Saturday 4th is fully booked but there is options of walk-ins, although, we are expect a considerable wait in the queue. We will do our best, but entry is not guaranteed. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Duke of Wellington.”

The new opening times are:

Sunday to Thursday 12pm – 10pm

Friday to Saturday 12pm – 12 midnight

Oliver’s team has added: “After much work behind the scenes to ensure you can party safely, we are now ready to open our doors on July 4th! Our team have made some important changes to ensure you can enjoy your time with us safely. These changes include new safe distancing measures, strict venue cleaning rules and a new order & pay app.”

There’s even a short video explaining the changes in more detail.
