We have some super shopping news for you: all four Clonezone stores have reopened in Soho, Earl’s Court, Manchester and Birmingham. We asked Clonezone’s PR and Brand Manager sexy Topher Taylor to tell us more.
We are back! I’m so glad to be back on the Boyz website. We’ve missed you guys. It’s been a very wild few months here at Clonezone and I’ve been working incredibly hard to try and keep our online service running smoothly amidst the closure of our stores during COVID-19 lockdown. It has not been easy – with restrictions and delays in mail services, courier short-staffing, our own staff being at home isolating.
But we are back. We are slowly getting our teams back together and are doing our very best to hit the ground-running. All four Clonezone stores have now reopened but with strict social-distancing and hygiene rules in place. Our shops have one-way-systems clearly marked on the floor, a limit of how many customers that can enter the stores and guards up at till-points. It sounds a lot more complicated than it is – it’s really quite smooth and the systems were designed to follow the natural flow around our branches anyway.
Our teams are well-trained in observing this social distancing and we just ask that you can politely join us in the observations. It’s not ideal for us as an intimate retailer to have things so clinical, but we have to do what we need to do to keep both YOU and our teams safe. Please don’t be offended if it all seems a little distant – you know that’s not our usual style! We will be back to normal soon enough.
The only strange part of us is we are used to having hugs and cups of tea with our customers – which is obviously something that we cannot do at the moment or for the foreseeable future. We are looking forward to the days when we can throw in-store events again, have DJs, Pride season and working alongside charities like GMFA again in our centralised locations.
