Henry Miller Fine Art once again welcomes visitors to his home gallery on Sunday 27th September

After 6 months of lockdown, the art world is slowly waking up and art dealer Henry Miller has started to reopen the doors to his home gallery in Walthamstow. Following a successful “open weekend” trial in August, he is once again ready to welcome visitors on Sunday 27 September.

Henry Miller told Boyz: “With restrictions and rules getting a little bit clearer, we decided to see how we could make it work, and with advance bookings and limited numbers of people every hour, it ended up being a real success. Everyone was very respectful of social distancing and mask wearing, and we offer hand sanitizer throughout the gallery, so the whole experience was easy and enjoyable!”

As many Boyz readers will know, Henry Miller Fine Art focuses on the male form, ranging from the 17th Century to the present day.

Here’s a selection of works from the collection that make us think of holidays, sunshine, beaches and sexy boys, something many of us won’t have had a chance to enjoy this year….

So here’s a chance to let the sun shine in with some art!

Ian Cook “Mario and Parasol”

Michael Leonard “Bather with Striped Towel”

Studio Arax “Male Physique Model”

Sir Charles Thomas Wheeler “Design study for the Western Fountain figures, Trafalgar Square”

Stuart Maxwell Armfield “The Vegetable Seller, Mauritius”

Orion Delain “Male Nude with Flowers”

Patrick Hennessy “Kassim by the Sea”

Henry Miller Fine Art Open House – September 27th from 11am-6pm, booking required.
