Ku Leicester Sq reopens with pizzas from the Ku Kitchen and celebrates 25 years of the Ku brand in Soho

Gary Henshaw’s Ku brand celebrated 25 years of being in Soho on Tuesday as Ku Leicester Square reopened after the lockdown with its own Ku Kitchen serving tasty Ku Pizzas. Stephen Vowles went along to the celebration for Boyz.

Huge kudos to Gary and his team for staging and hosting a fabulous event to mark the 25 years of the Ku brand being in Soho.

Songbird Vicki Vivacious was her inimitable self belting out very apt songs including “I’m Every Woman” proving that she can certainly hold a tune.

Vicki toasted Gary and Ku’s 25th anniversary and all the customers and staff raised their glasses to a fantastic achievement on London’s LGBT+ scene.

There were very moreish Ku Pizzas available and we opted for the “Parma Bitch” and the “Trufflove” which arrived very hot from the brand new Ku Kitchen.

Ku are eager to observe all the latest government rules and the Ku staff are meeting this challenge with gusto, flair and panache which make Ku a very special place where a safe, good time is guaranteed.
