Duncan and his team continue to promote fabulous cabaret acts and their latest act was show-stopper Divina De Campo who burst onto the Sundowners stage last Saturday 19th February in a blaze of fiery glory matched only by the intensity of her wonderful and brightly coiffured wig.
Belting out classic pop anthems and standards in her rather unique way such as “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”, then a wonderful Abba medley followed by “All That Jazz” and Dolly’s “9 to 5”. Then after a well received round of applause delivered “Defying Gravity” as an encore. Divina knows how to work a room.
It’s no wonder that Sundowners continues to draw good crowds and with regular drinks promotions, food and brunch specials and situated – and very easy to find – on the Margate seafront, why not pay the friendly venue a visit? The atmosphere and ambience is terrific and you will have a great time.
