DJ Pagano at XXL Wrestle
Italian stallion DJ Pagano is back at Pulse this Saturday (26 Aug) for XXL’s 12-hour extravaganza from 9pm. He’ll be spinning huge dancefloor hits alongside residents Paul Morrell and Alex Logan in the main room, while David Robson and Joe Egg turn out the choons in the pop and R&B-fuelled Fur Lounge. Bette’s Blankety Blank
Scene legend and cabaret [blank] Bette Rinse takes to the stage at the RVT on Wednesday (23 Aug) with a hilarious round of Blankety Blank. Panelists include Drag Idol 2017 winner Tracy Barlow, Lenard Pink, Miss Hope Springs, Son of a Tutu, Miss Jason and Fagulous, and best of all 100% of proceeds from the night will go directly to Mildmay HIV Hospital. Doors open 5pm, the show starts at 8pm and entry is £5.
Ku Bar’s bank holiday weekend
Ku Bar always delivers a kick-ass weekend and this August bank holiday is no different. Friday sees XXXtra hawt beats from DJs Flaviano, Thanos and Pablo Eseeme from 10pm down in the Klub. On Saturday evenings it’s your chance to meet the cast and crew of Outlaws To In-Laws, which runs at the King’s Head Theatre next month, plus there’s a chance to win tickets to the show. And on Sunday (27 Aug), take advantage of the following day’s holiday by starting your night with Ku Kabaret from Jacquii Swallows and Sum Ting Wong from 8pm and continuing with dirty pop beats from DJ Lady Lloyd from 10pm until 3am.
Bank holiday weekend at the White Swan
The White Swan in Limehouse kicks off the bank holiday weekend with a new night for people of colour and their friends this Friday (25 Aug) with music from DJ FKA001. On Saturday (26 Aug) Masala club takes over the Lounge Bar celebrating freedom and independence with a fusion of Bollywood and pop music, while next door in the Club Bar the fantastic Sandra hits the stage. And on Sunday (27 Aug), the guys open at 7pm with Miss Terry Tour on stage and disco hits playing until 2am.
The Brewer’s bank holiday
Clapham hotspot the Two Brewers has a jam-packed bank holiday line up this weekend and we cannot wait to get stuck in. Highlights include A Divided Queendom: A Brexit Fairytale starring Rose Garden and Ripley on Thursday (24 Aug), Drag Idol 2017 winner Tracy Barlow entertain the masses at Snatch Ball on Friday (25 Aug), and on Bank Holiday Monday (28 Aug) the team from Power of Three are back for their second bite of the weekend with a fundraiser for the London Fire Brigade starring cabaret’s finest including Mary Mac, Miss Jason, Sandra and more.

The Duke of Welly
