Ku’s bank holiday Summer sizzler of nights

It’s fair to say that every weekend is hot at the Ku venues but for the bank holiday weekend Gary, Nieko and those lovely Ku boys are pulling out every stop they can lay their hands on. Here’s a saucy preview of just some of the highlights and don’t forget you can also enjoy the Light Lounge and She Soho too.

XXXTra Hawt Night at Klub

Friday 25 August, 10pm – 3am

Klub is the gorgeous basement funk centre underneath Ku Leicester Square that is always rocking with great DJs and a fun crowd. This Friday (25 Aug) DJs Flaviano, Thanos and Pablo Eseeme will be on those decks while your host is Nieko… of course!

Outlaws to In-laws

Saturday 26 August, bars open until 3am, Klub is open till 5am

On Saturday all the venues are teaming up with the cast and creative team from Outlaws to In-laws, a brilliant series of plays focused on the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality that is on at the King’s Head Theatre in Islington next month. You can meet the cast and crew at Leicester Square and win tickets. Ku PR manager and host Nieko told us: “We’re proud to be engaging, investing and promoting more community related events and goings on. We’re thrilled to be a part of Outlaws to In-laws, a brand new set of plays at the King’s Head Theatre that will focus on the movements leading up to the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality.”

“This will be the theme of our bank holiday weekend; a celebration of liberation and freedom, of love and triumph, of equality. And of course, we’ll be partying extra late each night with all our DJs, boys… and drinks.” Plus Klub will be open until 5am with DJs Pablo Eseeme, Flaviano, Charlie Holland and Raul Villa.

Bank Holiday Kabaret

Sunday 27 August, from 8pm to 3am

It wouldn’t be a bank holiday weekend without some cabaret and on Sunday (27 Aug) the outrageous Jacqui Swallows welcomes the hilarious Sum Ting Wong as her special guest to the Ku Kabaret in Klub. As if that wasn’t craziness enough, the quiet and demure Lady Lloyd will be dishing out the hits till 3am.

Entry to the bars is free. Ku Leicester Square and Klub, 30 Lisle Street, WC2.  Ku Soho, 25 Frith Street, Soho, W1.
