#GiveOzAHug: Monday 23 October
On Monday night this week a couple of hundred people came together in Soho outside the Admiral Duncan on Old Compton Street to show support for the Yes campaign in the upcoming Australian Marriage Equality vote.
Organised by some of the team who put together the Orlando vigil this was a a simple idea; a mass public display of affection in the heart of the London LGBT+ scene. At 7pm we hugged and kissed and everyone cheered, Son of a Tutu, Mark Healy and Peter Thatchell all said a few words and the scene was united in sending support across the world.
