Seven Days: The RVT, Two Brewers, XXL, Ku Bar and more

DE is back at the RVT

It’s that time of the month again, possums; the laughs will be coming thick and fast and your sing-along muscles will be given a serious work-out. Yep, this Sunday (19 Nov) the one and only DE Experience is back where her heart is at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern for Sunday Social. The doors open at 3pm, Edna is on at 5.30pm, you know the drill. Plus you get big phat tunes from Simon Le Vans, Liam Chaplin and Sean Sirrs. Bonza!

Backroom at the Two Brewers

Thank God it’s Friday, especially when those funky boys from Backroom are back at the Two Brewers. This Friday (17 Nov) the lovely Sam Londt and Liam Chaplin will be mixing up the pop remixes and club classics at Backroom Club Land at the Clapham Mothership, while in the Cabaret Bar you get chuckles galore from Titti La Camp.

The White Swan

Compton Cross cabaret

If you haven’t checked out the gorgeous Compton Cross yet we recommend a visit and sharpish, it’s the venue formally known as Molly Moggs, has cabaret and is quite honestly stunning.

XXL Bear

Call us old fashioned but as the winter draws in we quite like the idea of snuggling up with a hot bear. This Saturday (18 Nov) we get just that chance as XXL Bear goes all out with the furry fun plus blokes, hunks and hotties of all varieties, shapes and sizes. And as if that wasn’t cool enough, scene legend Fat Tony will be back alongside those ferocious XXL resident DJs.

Ku Bar hottness

Weekends were made for Ku and as always, all the venues will be fit to bursting with hottness of every kind. Ku Leicester Square has an amazing DJ line-up in the main bar and also in that funky Klub, Ku Soho is the small but perfectly formed hang out plus they both have ‘those’ bar boys and don’t forget there’s also the Light Lounge and She. Party on!

Admiral Duncan Drag Calendar 

The Admiral Duncan have teamed up with photographer Chris Jepson and some of the scene’s biggest cabaret stars to produce a limited edition 2018 drag calendar to raise cash for The Food Chain. It features 12 gorgeous fantasy scenes, is A3 and is limited to just 250 copies. You can buy it for just £20 from the venue from this Wednesday, 15 November.

The Old Ship double bubble

Gor blimey guv’nor there’s two right beauties at the Old Ship in Limehouse this weekend. On Saturday (18 Nov) it’s the delicious Lola Lasagne and on Sunday the showbiz legend that is Mrs Moore.

Your G&D weekend

The Duchess doesn’t stand for any mucking about at the George & Dragon, unless of course it’s on the stage and this weekend you get loads with Sandra on Friday (17 Nov), Myra DuBois on Saturday and on Sunday Sandra, Miss Jason and Tanya Hyde.

Tale as old as time  

As we hurtle towards Christmas what could be more fun that a Disney sing song and this Friday (17 Nov) at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square you can indulge with the sing-along version of the remake of Beauty and the Beast starring Hermione, sorry Emma Watson!
