National Student Pride 2018 arrives in the capital 

National Student Pride is back at the University of Westminster next week with three days of fun and informative events for your to sink your teeth into. On Friday (9 Feb) Drag Idol winner Danny Beard hosts welcome drinks at G-A-Y before the main fun gets going at the following day’s daytime festival. Talking of which, Saturday afternoon sees the Attitude magazine team debate on homelessness, a series of Evan Davis interviews, the careers fair and live performances from Courtney Act and Calum Scott, while later that night it’s more G-A-Y fun at Heaven. And on Sunday it’s time to sit back and take it easy on the Queer Bus Tour. Registration takes place on the Friday from 7pm until 10pm at G-A-Y Late; please note wristbands cannot be collected at Heaven. Registration then reopens on Saturday at the daytime event. The Golden Girls are back

This Tuesday (13 Feb), Wednesday and Thursday you get the chance to experience one of the greatest TV comedies of all time live at the Two Brewers. Golden Girls: A Musical – The Valentine’s Special is another classic episode of the hit TV show given the Two Box Productions treatment, starring Rose Garden as Dorothy, Tanya Hyde as Blanche, Stephanie Von Clitz as Rose and Mrs Moore as Sophia, plus with added songs. What’s on at the G&D

The weekend fun starts on Friday (9 Feb) when Sandra takes to the stage at the George and Dragon down in sunny Greenwich and continues on Saturday when the small but perfectly formed Mary Mac is the star turn. On Sunday you get not one but three amazing acts when The Duchess and her team welcome Dave Lynn, Mary and Miss Jason. Top notch stuff.

Fun at the Old Ship 

If you’re Limehouse way this weekend then they have two amazing acts at the Old Ship starting on Saturday with the always hilarious Miss Jason. On Sunday you kind of get two for the price of one when the brilliant Heart & Soul burst onto the stage and into song.

Coming up at Central Station 

This Saturday (10 Feb) the gang at Central Station welcome the lovely Krystal Ball to the cabaret stage and next Saturday (17 Feb) it’s the amazing Charlie Hides, so clear your dairy now.
