Drag Idol and the Cheeky Girls at the Brewers 

Easter weekend is not far away and the team at the Two Brewers have two very special events to start the weekend on Thursday 29 March, the night before Good Friday. The fun starts with the official launch of Drag Idol 2018 at a special event in the Cabaret Bar hosted by our cover girls Crystal and Kelly, aka CK, who are the Drag Idol hosts again this year. The night will include a special performance from last year’s winner, Tracy Barlow, plus there’s bound to be a few surprises. Plus on the same night The Cheeky Girls are back for a special show in the Club Bar. If you want to take part in Drag Idol this year check out dragidoluk.co.uk from next week. Pride’s Got Talent at the Old Ship 

This Tuesday (13 Mar) the talent juggernaut that is Pride’s Got Talent rocks up to the East End with the next cabaret heat at the Old Ship in Limehouse. This year’s contest is already throwing up some amazing acts and this heat, hosted by the aways lovely Michael Twaits, promises to be a fun night of amazing talent.

Disabled, Queer and Here at The RVT 

Next Friday (16 Mar) there’a a very special show at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern called Disabled, Queer and Here at 7pm. Curated by cabaret performer Sugar, this is a show about disability awareness on the scene and in the wider community, featuring disabled LGBTQ+ performers who will be presenting sketches, performances and talks.Tickets are £5 from vauxhalltavern.com. The show will be followed at 10pm by BEEFMINCE.

Metro Greenwich has moved

Metro is a sexual health service that promote health and wellbeing through their transformative services to anyone experiencing issues relating to gender, sexuality, diversity or identity. They have recently moved location to a shiny new building in Woolwich that offers all the services they offered in Greenwich. Dunky cabaret nights

We love the Admiral Duncan, there’s always something crazy on stage and a very warm welcome from Karl and the gang. The fun starts this week on Thursday (8 Mar) with Sandra and KY Kelly and Heart & Soul on Friday. Saturday is Virgin Xtravaganzah followed by Dr Woof and then Kara Van Park and Baga Chipz bring it all home on Sunday.
