More stars confirmed for Brighton Pride

In case you’ve been hiding away on a rock in the middle of the Atlantic, you will probably have heard that a certain US superstar is headlining Brighton Pride this year on Saturday 4 August in Preston Park. But, Brighton Pride is so much more than Britney bitch, apart from the Parade, after-parties, dog show, community events and all the rest of the fun in the park, and the new Sunday LoveBN1, there’s also a host of other stars now confirmed to perform over the weekend. Here’s a sneak peek at just a few.

Pride Festival in Preston Park

Saturday 4 August

Yes, yes, we know Britney will be there and we’ve been practising our Toxic routine, but there’s loads more fantastic acts joining the bill on Saturday. Currently riding a huge wave of popularity following her dazzling spin on Strictly, Louise is back and will be on the main stage to perform hits such as Naked, Pandora’s Kiss, 2 Faced and more. Superstar producer MNEK (he’s worked with Madonna and Beyonce, we know!) will be stepping out from the studio to take centre stage at Preston Park to perform his hit Never Forgot You, his new single Tongue and more. Also on the main stage will be number one best selling Ella Eyre who gave us the vocal’s on Rudimental’s classic Waiting All Night and has gone on the enjoy more hits such as Sigala’s 2017 tropical-tinged summer smash Came Here for Love. Genuine pop star royalty Pixie Lott will also be belting out number one hits Mama Do and Boys and Girls and more, and as if these weren’t enough you also get new pop sensation Mabel as well.

LoveBN1 in Preston Park

Sunday 5 August 

LoveBN1 is the brand new music festival that’s been added to Brighton Pride and is taking over Preston Park on Sunday. The massive news is that the headline act on Sunday is Chic featuring Nile Rodgers… shall we say that again, Chic.. with classic hits like Good Times, Le Freak and I Want Your love, plus a sprinkling of hits they wrote and produced for David Bowie, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross and more. Plus, the team have now confirmed also performing on Sunday will be British soul legend, Gabrielle, performing hits such as Out of Reach, Sunshine, Walk on By and of course, Dreams. Also performing on Sunday will be the amazing Jess Glynne filling us up with her big pop smashes such as the anthem Hold My Hand and Rather Be plus we also get X Factor and Happy Mondays star Rowetta, exciting pop newcomer Raye and much more.
