Last Sunday the great and good from the cabaret scene came together to pay an emotional tribute to Spike Rhodes, promoter, activist and founder of The Drama Queens.

The show, Goodbye Mr Producer, was put together by Mrs Moore along with DQ regulars Tanya Hyde, Rose Garden and Craiger Bell, plus Boyz’s own Dave Cross. The evening was a mix of Drama Queens numbers featuring Titti La Camp, Morag McDuff, Miranda Jane and more plus special performances from the likes of Dave Lynn, Ian Elmslie, Saucy Sophie and Myra DuBois. Plus Stewart Who? and Peter Shapcott spoke about Spike’s work as an activist and fundraiser. It was a beautiful, emotional night with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, just perfect for Spike.
