Quay Pride Great Yarmouth

There are many ways to describe cabaret artiste and drag star extraordinaire Misty Lee: ‘bike with a mic’; ‘slob with a gob’; ‘frump with a hump’. We prefer ‘tart with a heart’, but whichever you choose you can tell her to her face when she takes to the stage at Quay Pride in Great Yarmouth this Friday (6 Apr) from 10pm. Sundowners Margate

Get ready for a drag-tastic seafront soiree this Saturday (7 Apr) when the amazing Topsie Redfern takes to the stage at Sundowners bar in Margate. She’ll be on the boards from 11pm and the venue is only until a super-late 3am. Expect songs, jokes and fun on the ukulele from Ms Redfern, plus fun and games from the gorge Sundowners team.

Mary’s Cardiff

There’s always tons going on down at Mary’s in Cardiff. On Friday (6 Apr) resident DJ Lee spins non-stop tunes from the 90s and 00s right up to the today’s hits from 8pm. Saturday sees DJ Billy serve all the best dance, pop and current chart smashes from 8pm, while on Sunday it’s all go when aunties Ade and Betty host bingo from 5pm with cash prizes up for grabs. DJ Mary Golds turns the decks before a special guest cabaret act takes to the stage at 9pm.

Party for longer at GBar

Liverpool’s original and best afterhours venue, GBar, has a fab roster of events on every weekend. Thursdays see free entry to Frock Swap, hosted by Lavinia and Beverly Tight Lipps, while on Friday it’s Scent with pop, chart and R&B from DJs including Andy Locker and Andy Mac. Saturgays is the place to be for more of the same music from DJs Whitney Wide-On and Dave Bennett, and the weekend draws to a close with the infamous Sunday Roast from 11pm until late. Phew!

The Kings Arms Swansea

Open daily from 3pm until midnight on weekdays and 1am at weekends, the Kings Arms in Swansea sure knows how to throw a party. Expect DJs and cabaret acts every Friday and Saturday and some of the biggest LGBT revellers the city has to offer.
