Taking place from 10pm until 4am, expect individual rooms that will push your senses as you mix and play with other geared up men. The City of Quebec is back!

OK, so it never actually technically closed, but it has reopened as an LGBT venue and will host its official relaunch over May’s first bank holiday weekend. On Saturday 5 May Charlie Hides takes to the stage, introduced by Patti O’Dors, while the next day Son of a Tutu kicks off the venue’s new regular weekly cabaret evening. We also hear Stephanie Von Clitz is set to host pub quizzes and rock ’n’ roll bingo session on rotation every Wednesday night. Welcome back Quebec!

25 years of Sonia at The RVT

Scouse pop sensation Sonia is set to perform a Eurovision anniversary special at the RVT on Thursday 26 April. Sonia represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993, finishing second with 164 points, behind Ireland‘s 187 points. Her third album, Better the Devil You Know, was released the same year. At the RVT, expect her to perform her hits including You’ll Never Stop Me from Loving You, Everybody Knows, Can’t Forget You, Listen To Your Heart and Counting Every Minute. All hail the Duchess at the G&D

That Boyz Award-winning Duchess welcomes another gaggle of cabaret acts to her humble abode the George and Dragon this weekend. On Thursday (12 Apr) it’s Mrs Moore while on Friday it’s Mandy Gap. Saturday sees Miss Penny on the boards, the on Sunday it’s the terrific trio of Mary Mac, Sandra and Miss Jason.

Double the trouble at the Old Ship

Those Limehouse lovelies are in for more drag treats this weekend when two of our favourite acts take to the stage. On Saturday (14 Apr) it’s Miss Penny, while on Sunday it’s Sum Ting Wong, and both take to the mic from 9.30pm. Get in.
