Ku, what a scorcher

Suns out buns out, well not quite but when the sun is shining those lovely bar boys at Ku Leicester Square and Ku Soho certainly bring the smiles out in us. Swing by for a refreshing cold drink, maybe a beer or a cocktail,  some summer pop and a flirt or two at either of the venues. Sorted.

The George and Dragon

This weekend there’s a host of cabaret starts including Mary Mac (Friday), Lola Lasagne (Saturday) and on Sunday it’s Sandra, Miss Jason and Tony Sinclair.

Originally started as a trial of a few weeks, the Wandsworth LGBTQ Forum’s over 50s coffee morning will be celebrating it’s first birthday this Thursday (26 Apr) at the Furzedown Project in Tooting. The group is the only weekly service for the over 50s LGBTQ community in South London and has proved to be incredibly popular and has also been supported by one of politics’ most prominent out LGBT MPs, Justine Greening. It starts at 10am and this birthday is the perfect chance to check it out if you haven’t already.

CC Blooms in Edinburgh

Named after Bette Midler’s character in the film Beaches, CC Blooms is one of the best places to eat out in Edinburgh. Choose from burgers, pastas and desserts plus a cracking drinks menu. What’s more, Ms Midler follows the bar on Twitter, don’t you know…
