May highlights at the London Hotel in Southampton

On Sunday 6 May the London Hotel in Southampton is hosting a pre-party for the Summer Pride Boat Party, which sails from 4pm until 8pm. The pre-party, from 1pm until 3.30pm, will see DJ Neil Sackley get you in the mood to ride those ocean waves, plus a percentage of the bar takings will be donated to Southampton Pride events. And later in the month, on Sunday 20 May, London Hotel owners Darren and Pete mark their 5th anniversary at the helm with a Cancer is a Drag Fundraiser starring Miss Penny, Chamonix Aspen, Lucinda Lashes and Son of a Tutu.

This weekend at The Yard in Coventry

Can’t wait for the weekend to begin? The Yard in Coventry has a packed couple of days of live entertainment lined up for you this weekend. On Friday (27 Apr) the Glitoris Girls take to the stage with their brand of hilarious funnies from 9pm, while on Saturday (28 Apr) singer Shèna – vocalist on the massive Michael Gray song The Weekend – takes to the stage for a performance of her greatest hits.

Spring offers at Saunabar in Bournemouth

Bournemouth’s Saunabar is one of our favourite places to chill out on the south coast and this spring it has a bunch of offers to whet your appetite. Guys aged 18 to 24 years old enjoy free entry from 2pm until 7pm every day, while those aged 25 to 30 get in for £10 any day of the week too (valid ID is required for both offers). What’s more, on Wednesdays a one hour naturist massage is only £30 – that’s some bargain!

The Castle, Norwich

East Anglia’s biggest gay venue, The Castle in Norwich, offers fantastic after work deals every week Monday to Saturday from 5pm until 8pm, with 2-4-1 on classic burgers and 35% off all drinks (excluding just a few). And coming up on Saturday 5 May, get ready for four hours of non-stop music from the 70s, 80s and 90s when Boogie Nights steams into town for its monthly party from 10pm. “Ain’t no doubt, we are here to party…”

The Loft NR1, Norwich

Gay nightclub The Loft NR1 is one of the best LGBT venues in Norwich and it starts the weekend early every Thursday from 10pm with Ministry of Pound playing all your favourite chart, pop, dance, dub step and more. On Fridays it’s Top Queer – six hours of beats from DJ Craig Johnson, free entry before 2am and £2 shots – while Saturdays sees Norwich’s biggest gay night out, I Love Loft, serve up deep house and classic old skool anthems until a super-late 6.30am Sunday morning. Lollards Pit, Norwich

One of Norwich’s most historic pubs, Lollards Pit regularly hosts pub quizzes (Wednesdays from 8pm), rounds of bingo (Sundays from 6.30pm) and free games of pool (Tuesday all day). And on Saturdays it’s Party Night with music for all tastes from 8pm.
