XXL Bear Pride 2018 is coming

Yes, we know we are still in recovery mode from the first May bank holiday weekend, but buckle up kids, there’s another one just around the corner and this one is packed with beefy beary goodness. The Spring Bank Holiday weekend at the end of the month, from Friday 25 May is the XXL Bear Pride weekend with a host of furry fun starting on the Friday with Ruggercub at The Two Brewers. Saturday is the gigantic main party at Pulse with special guest DJs Moto Blanco joining the residents. On Bank Holiday Sunday (27 May) it’s Fusion also at Pulse with Pagano and the groovy boys from Beefmince. Brace yourselves, it’s Pam Ann!

On Tuesday 26 June, you’ll need to assume crash positions as Boyz’ favourite layover lands her Learjet on Clapham High Street. Yes kids, Pam Ann is back at her spiritual home at The Two Brewers. Trainspotting live

If you’re a fan of the original ground-breaking film Trainspotting – and honestly who isn’t? – check out this punchy, 75 minute production that recaptures the passion and the controversy of the famous novel and film, and repackages it into an immersive production. FFS with Timberlina

FFS is a hilarious alt-drag rock ‘n’ roll show about giving a shit starring the always brilliant Timberlina. If you’re frustrated about the bewildering contradictions of trying to be a good person in a world that doesn’t care then this show is for you. Barclaycard BST Open House  

The Barclaycard British Summer Time events in Hyde Park have become an impressive part of the London summer with many huge acts scheduled to perform this year. There’s also four days of free summer fun from Monday 9 to Thursday 12 July which will include screenings of films from the Lego Movie to Flash Gordon, live music including Boyz’ favourite The London Gay Big Band, hip hop bingo, aerial circus, a street food market and loads more. Eurovision at The Victoria 

This Saturday (12 May), Pixie and her team at The Victoria in Walthamstow will be screening the Eurovision Final from 8pm and at midnight you get cabaret from the delicious and sweet Victoria Sponge.
