Spring Bank Holiday at Halfway II Heaven

This bank holiday weekend will be as camp as can be at the Boyz Award-winning cabaret hotspot that is Halfway II Heaven with a delicious selection of the finest acts on offer all weekend, plus those winning smiles from Heather and her team. We asked a few of their stars to tell us what the Charing Cross venue means to them.

Miss Jason and Crystal D’Canter

Friday 25 May, midday – 3am

Start your bank holiday weekend with a double helping of cabaret fun with Miss Jason at 8pm and Crystal D’Canter at 10pm.

Miss Jason told us: “Well dears, I love to kickstart my bank holiday weekend in style and start as I mean to go on. Being underground at Halfway with a lot of hot, sweaty men will set the tone for my bank holiday frolics. In truth there’s nothing better for the soul than the bank holiday bounce. I feel an outrage coming on, but I am not going to stop at Halfway this weekend, I intended to go all the way.”

Saturday Cabaret

Saturday 26 May, midday – 3am

Saturdays are always a tad off the scale at Halfway and we love them. This bank holiday promises to be as bonkers as they come with Mary Mac at 4pm, followed by Rose Garden at 5pm and later on it’s The Vixens at 10pm while DJ Justin Swift plays the hits. We asked Mary, Rose and Tia Kofi from The Vixens what the venue means to them…

“It’s always a hoot performing at Halfway, a real family feel in the crowd and newbies always get a warm welcome. Plus it’s pink and glittery – what more do you want?” Mary Mac

Saturdays at Halfway II Heaven are completely bonkers, full of fun, laughter and skittle bombs. You will never see the same show twice and they’re full of variety, with Mrs Moore, Mary Mac, The Vixens, Heart & Soul, Justin Swift and ME. And it’s all for free too. I love Saturdays.” Rose Garden

“We represented Halfway in Drag Idol 2015 so it’s been wonderful to call it home ever since. We get to share the stage with some of the scene’s most popular queens, we have the twinkiest bar staff and the best skittle bombs in town. What’s not to love? PS, I’m pitching Twinkiest Bar Staff as a new Boyz Award category.” Tia Kofi

CK’s Bank Holiday Sunday

Sunday 27 May, midday – late

CK Sundays are the stuff of cabaret legend, with a loyal team of regulars out in force to support Crystal D’Canter and Kelly Mild. Here’s what Crystal has to say about her spiritual home.

“Halfway is ‘home’. It’s our local in the middle of the city. When your friends live in different corners of London, it’s just the perfect spot to meet. The team are friendly and you can guarantee that you’re never alone at Halfway.”

Magic of the Musicals

Bank Holiday Monday, midday – late

For bank holiday Monday what could be better than a few songs from two of our very favourite showgirls, Mrs Moore and Tanya Hyde. And here’s what Halfway means to Mrs Moore.

“Halfway for me as a performer is home. It’s like a comfort blanket; there’s no other stage that I have stood on and laughed and cried in equal measure, and have an audience appreciate your emotions. Plus they do the best skittle bombs in London.”

Entry is free.
