Seven Days: The RVT, Ku Bar, XXL, The Two Brewers and more

The DE is back at The RVT

Just when you thought is was safe to go back on the scene, the unstoppable force of nature that is The DE Experience is back on home turf this Sunday (15 Jul) at Sunday Social. You know you’re going to get massive laughs, lightning-fast quips and zingers, plus Edna will unleash that gorgeous voice in a tumble of sing-along songs as she leads the RVT choir (that’s you) in an orgy of joy. And, as if that wasn’t enough, you get brilliant dancefloor killers and no fillers from DJs Simon Le Vans, Liam Chaplin and Sean Sirrs.

XXL Fetish with DJ Fat Tony

Following the rainbow madness of the Pride weekend the bears and blokes at Pulse are back to get down and dirty this Saturday (14 Jul) at XXL Fetish. You can expect a host of sweaty men in leather shorts, chaps, straps and studs while scene legend Fat Tony will be joining the residents in the main room to pump up your night.

Ku what a scorcher!

We had an amazing time at Ku over Pride, so much so that we may have to go back this weekend to apologise. But thankfully those hot boys never seem to mind and the DJs keep spinning the best in cool tunes. Plus that sexy Klub, downstairs at Lisle Street, is open late seven nights a week. And don’t forget they are showing all the key World Cup matches too!

Get clubbing at Circa

Circa: The Club is the totes gorgeous new weekend late night hotspot that has got the whole of gay London talking. Located by Embankment Tube, it’s open every Friday and Saturday night until late. The multi-layered venue comes complete with state-of-the-art sound and lights, stylish and decadent decor, enough fitties to shake a stick at and some of the best DJs in town.

Harry Poppers is back at The Two Brewers

As always there’s cabaret on every night at the Two Brewers in Clapham with a host of your favourite stars this weekend. But also those multi-Boyz Award-winning rascals from Two Box Productions are back with a special preview show this week before they head to Edinburgh again. On Thursday (12 Jul) it’s Harry Poppers and the Deathly Swallows, their unique vision of the life of a boy wizard. We can’t recommend this hilarious show enough – fans or not, they are magical! Your Halfway weekend

Heather and her team of minxes are probably having a lie down after the brilliance of their Pride weekend, but they’ll only pause for a few moments as the crazy is on again this and every week. Friday (13 Jul) sees Miss Jason taking to the stage and on Saturday you get three mega acts starting with our own showbiz princesses Mrs Moore at 4pm and Rose Garden at 5pm. The bar is open late and at 10pm it’s The Vixens with DJ Justin Swift.

Cabaret at the Old Ship

There’s two amazing acts this weekend to be found on stage at the Old Ship in Limehouse. On Saturday (14 Jul) you get scene legend Dave Lynn and on Sunday it’s the quiet and demure Mandy Gap who will be swinging her handbag around and belting out the hits.

Full house at Quay Pride Great Yarmouth

The bitch with the itch, Miss Tish Ewe, is your resident drag hostess at Quay Pride Great Yarmouth throughout the week, while on Sundays it’s Justin’s Bitchy Bingo with eyes down at 7pm.
