Waltham Forest Pride

Waltham Forest Pride is a brand new event happening this Saturday (28 Jul) in response to a number of attacks on local LGBT+ residents last year. The event will take place in Walthamstow Town Square from midday until 5pm. We are promised that this event will be ‘glittering, inclusive, diverse, antiracist, political and fun’, celebrating the borough’s lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community, and highlighting their ongoing campaign for equality with speakers, DJs and performers. The fun will carry on in the evening at both The Victoria and Chequers with a host of performers including Victoria Sponge, who’s hosting, plus Misty Lee, Alexis Sinclair, Evie Lake, Linda Bacardi, Ava Cardo, Electric Blue and many more.

Myra and Felix at the Old Ship

John and his team of happy campers at the Old Ship have two very special acts lined up this weekend at the Limehouse cabaret venue. On Saturday (28 Jul) it’s the unquenchable Myra DuBois and the following day on Sunday they welcome Felix Le Freak, winner of Drag Idol 2018. Both acts are nothing short of sensational and will be on stage at 9.30pm.
