Seven Days: Tanya’s back in town at Halfway! Plus Circa: the Club, XXL, The RVT, Two Brewers, Duke of Welly, White Swan and more

She pissed off to Gran Canaria a couple of months ago and left us longing for more of Ms Hyde, but it turns out she can’t keep away because the one and only Tanya Hyde is back in London for one night only on Tuesday (21 Aug). Speaking ahead of her fab show at home from home Halfway II Heaven, Tanya told Boyz: “I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to do a one night only show at Halfway – it’s like home to me. You can expect to see me being my usually catty self with some hair raising stories about the havoc I’m causing in Gran Canaria. See you there!”

Circa: The Club is the totes gorgeous new weekend late night hotspot that has got the whole of gay London talking. Located by Embankment Tube, it’s open every Friday and Saturday night until late. The multi-layered venue comes complete with state-of-the-art sound and lights, stylish and decadent decor, wall-to-wall fitties and some of the best DJs in town.

Jessica Fletcher relocates to Vauxhall for one night only

The RVT offers one of the broadest range of nights out in London we can think of, and on Wednesday (22 Aug) it hosts something even we have never heard of before: a Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote. Hosted by Tim Benzie with DJ Paul Joseph, it’s the chance for all Cabot Cove fanatics to pit their wits against Jessica Fletcher during an interactive screening of an episode of Murder, She Wrote. Party at the White Swan

The White Swan celebrates its 33rd birthday next weekend (Sat 25 Aug) but before all that this weekend the team host another couple of cracking nights out for you to forget the working week in style. On Friday (17 Aug) DJ Aaran Bader turns the beats from 8pm until 4am, while on Saturday the amazing DJ FKA is back behind the White Swan decks, again from 8pm until 4am.

One of our fave boozers, the George and Dragon down in Greenwich, has a packed schedule of events and camp drag shows coming up this weekend, and it all kicks off on Thursday (16 Aug) with the Piano Bar and Ian Parker. On Friday the whore from Hampstead, Sandra, heads south of the river for a very special show, while on Saturday Mary Mac returns from sunnier climes to keep the London massive entertained. She’s back again, however, on Sunday, along with Sandra (who clearly can’t keep away either) and the brilliant Miss Jason.
