The RVT Sports Day and Retro Monday: Monday 27 August
The annual charity sports day at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern is one of our favourite days on the LGBT+ calendar and this year’s was as brilliant as always.
On bank holiday Monday we joined the crowds to watch a selection of teams including clubs, bars, charity groups and more competing in a series of games designed to test them to their gay limits, including handbag throwing, power mincing, group dances and more. The whole thing was held together by the amazing Timberlina and was raising money for Hero and GMFA. We finished the day inside The RVT where The DE Experience was on sizzling form to a packed and happy Retro Monday crowd.
