Seven Days

Seven Days: The RVT, Klub, XXL, Halfway II Heaven and more

This weekend at The RVT

There’s no such thing as an average weekend at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern and this one is another exceptional collection of precious things. It all kicks off on Thursday (11 Oct) with David Hoyle and the latest in his Electric Cars series. Friday is the pumping and jumping Eurofest with a special live PA from Swedish Eurovision star Ace Wilder, Saturday it’s the mad, bad and dangerous to know gang known as Duckie and at Sunday Social it’s our favourite wee haggis, the gorgeous Mary Mac.

Let’s go Klubbing

If you find yourself in need of a late night shimmy (do the kids say that?),  want to flirt with cute boys or enjoy a late night drink? Then we are happy to remind you that Klub, downstairs at Ku Leicester Square, is open late seven nights a week. There’s always a fun vibe and there are always some hot DJs including Nieko Strobel, Rodrigo Tancredi, Thanos, Pablo Esemme, Vicki Vivacious and Lady Lloyd. So get down there and get down on the dancefloor… as the kids definitely say.

Get naughty at Subline Brighton

Subline is the totally brilliant and totally naughty cruise club in Brighton with hot events and parties. This Friday (12 Oct) it’s Dirty Tackle their regular and always busy sportswear party. Everyone’s a winner here.

The Brewers is closed

To quote the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy: Don’t Panic! The multi award-winning Two Brewers in Clapham is indeed closed this week, but it’s just for a refurb and will be re-opening next week when all will be revealed.

Pagano scrums down at XXL Rugby

This Saturday (13 Oct) our favourite Italian dish, DJ Pagano will be serving up his delicious beats to a club packed with bears, blokes and hotties wearing rugby kit and scrumming down… and if that isn’t a brilliant idea for a new TV show we don’t what is? Yep, Pagano will be at Pulse for XXL Rugby alongside team mates Paul Morrell and Alex Logan while in the Fur Lounge it’s the tag team of Joe Egg and David Robson.

Greenwich cabaret time

If you are in the Royal Borough of Greenwich we recommend a visit to the charming public house we call the George and Dragon with its shy retiring landlady, aka The Duchess. There’s always loads on offer, and this weekend you get Crystal D’Canter on Thursday (11 Oct), Sandra on Friday, Saturday it’s Mary Mac and on Sunday three acts, Mary, Sandra and Miss Jason for your pleasure.

Talk of the Town at the White Swan

There’s a very special cabaret night happening this Friday (12 Oct) in Limehouse at the White Swan. Talk of the Town is an evening with soul music duo Heart & Soul and some special guests including Krystal Ball, Keith Ramsey, Wilma Ballsdrop and more, plus hostess Saucy Sophie. If you want to pre-book £10 tickets, call 07977 294957.

Sounds like Heaven

The weekend fun at Halfway II Heaven starts on Friday (12 Oct) with the small but perfectly formed Mary Mac and then on Saturday you get some ‘yee haw’ when Crystal D’Canter does country at 4pm followed by Rose Garden at 5pm, Vickie Vivacious at 8pm and The Vixens at 10pm. Sunday belongs to CK, of course and on Monday (15 Oct) karaoke king Kevin Walsh is celebrating 20 years of hosting with a special party.

A Cosmic Tour at the Old ship

You get two amazing cabaret stars this weekend at The Old Ship. The feisty Little Cosmic is on stage and taking no prisoners on Saturday (13 Oct) and the gorgeous Miss Terry Tour will be raising the roof with that amazing voice on Sunday.

Let’s get naked in Blackpool

There’s more to the legendary northern seaside town of Blackpool than the illuminations and the guys at the Prince Albert Hotel are hosting a naked weekend this Friday (12 Oct), Saturday and Sunday. Get details and book a space at tpah.uk
