Comedy at The Brewers
The laughs come in all shapes and sizes at The Two Brewers in Clapham. The crazy starts on Thursday (21 Mar) when the all-conquering, Boyz Award-winning Vixens take to the stage and on Friday it’s the gorgeous Tanya Hyde, and DJ Demon plus in the Club Bar Pineapple Bxtch Pool Party with Felix Le Freak and Tia Kofi. On Saturday the night starts with a special show called Brexitvision at 8pm when 10 comedians from 10 countries compete for a glittering prize and to raise money for local HIV charity Wandsworth Oasis. The weekend skids to some kind of climax on Sunday with the Power of Three featuring Myra DuBois, Mary Mac and Sandra.
Sweatbox opens 1st April
Nope we are not fooling, after being shut for six months the Boyz Award-winning sauna Sweatbox, just off Oxford Street, is finally reopening on Monday 1 April at 4pm. We’ve had a sneak peek and it’s safe to say the wait has been well worth it, you will be impressed.
Diana Ross screenings
On Tuesday (26 Mar) cinemas across the UK will be screening Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy, a special film to celebrate her 75th birthday. Miss Terry Tour at Sundowners
On Saturday night (23 Mar) the totally gorgeous Miss Terry Tour will be unleashing that amazing voice live on stage at Sundowners in Margate. She will be doing her stuff at 11pm and the venue is open until 3am.
Chanel’s Drag Easy at the White Swan
If you want some brilliant and exciting new drag talent then on Wednesday (27 Mar) head to the White Swan in Limehouse where Chanel No5 hosts her Drag Easy. She’s looking for new talent to take part, just message her via social media if you want to step on to the stage.
There’s always variety at The RVT
There’s another sizzling weekend ahead at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern starting on Thursday (21 Mar) with the extraordinary David Hoyle and the last of his Camp Laff shows with special guest Tracy La Bouche (nee Barlow). On Friday it’s Eurofest and their annual Eurovision preview, starting at 7pm, you get to see all this year’s entries before the main club night with a live PA from 2018 Macedonian entry Eye Cue. Saturday is obviously the all powerful Duckie and on Sunday, this week’s Queen of Cabaret is the Tartan terror, the wonderful Mary Mac.
Treat yourself at The Yard Coventry
At The Yard in Coventry they have something fabulous on every night, but the big night for cabaret is Friday. This Friday (22 Mar) it’s the outrageous Fanny Coil and next week (29 Mar) it’s Drag Idol finalist Shania Pain. Wahoo!
Charlie Hides is at CMYK
CMYK is the brilliant new LGBT+ venue that is open now in Wimbledon, just by the world famous Wimbledon Theatre. It’s a gorgeous new space, with everything you could want in a venue including a downstairs dancefloor and loads of yummy cocktails. This Saturday (23 Mar) they welcome back cabaret legend Charlie Hides plus Munroe Adams and DJ Duo Thirsty Bitch.
Woo and Chocolat
If you’re a lover of songs from shows then you seriously need to book tickets for A Night at the Musicals starring Jonny Woo and Le Gateau Chocolat at The Soho Theatre. It’s a gorgeous show in every way possible and tickets are on sale now at sohotheatre.com
The Duchess is at The Piano Bar
The Piano Bar is the really rather lovely Thursday night at The George and Dragon in Greenwich in which top cabaret names team up with pianist Ian Parker. This Thursday, lock up your puppies as The Duchess will be treating us to some of her favourite songs.

If you are heading to Ku Leicester Square this Friday or Saturday, don’t forget you can also pop upstairs and chillax with a delicious cocktail in the Light Lounge. It’s the gorgeous VIP style lounge bar that is open to everyone and well worth a visit.
Cabaret at the Old Ship
At the Old Ship in Limehouse this weekend they have two fantastic acts for your amusement. On Saturday (23 Mar) it’s the lovely Wilma Ballsdrop and the following day on Sunday the not-to-be-messed with Cosmic!
Didn’t They Do Welly!
Let’s be honest no matter how cool we think we are (we don’t think we’re cool BTW) we all love a good pub quiz and each and every Wednesday there’s a cracker of one at The Duke of Wellington in Soho. Didn’t They Do Welly happens every Wednesday in the upstairs bar and is hosted by Martha D’Arthur and Topsie Redfern on rotation.
Flirtura is back
The launch party of Flitura, the new monthly party at The Chelsea Pensioner on Fulham Road was sensational, so it’s no surprise that we are looking forward to the second party next Saturday (30 Mar). It all kicks off at 6pm with cabaret from 8.15pm including Doctor Woof, Ebony Rose Dark, Loud & Queerly, special guest Mr Fabulous, host Alex Green and a lot more cool stuff. The Halfway weekend
Stand by kids, it’s all go this weekend at Halfway II Heaven starting on Friday (22 Mar) with Tanya Hyde hosting their screening of RuPaul’s Drag Race followed at 10pm by Lola Lasagne. Saturday is the classic line-up of Mrs Moore, Rose Garden and at 10pm The Vixens while on Sunday, it’s what else but CK Sunday with Crystal and Kelly.
Miss Hope Springs is at Underbelly
Miss Hope Springs, recovering showgirl, blonde bomb-site, cabaret assassin and songwriter to the stars (they just don’t know it) will be previewing her 2019 Edinburgh Fringe show, It’s Miss Hope Springs, as part of Underbelly Festival on Thursday 11 April. Popstarz is back at The Scala
This Friday (22 Mar) the gang from Popstarz are back at their spiritual home at The Scala in Kings Cross. Popstarz The Good Old Days will feature three rooms of music, indie, pop guilty pleasures and R&B, plus a chill out space. DJs will include Holestar, Lady Lloyd Jeffrey Hinton, Tommy Turntables and more, plus they will be raising money for London Friend. Advance tickets are sold out, but there’s loads on the door and some free entry via their Facebook page.
