Sweatbox opens
After what seems like an eternality, but has actually been nearly six months, the Boyz Award-Winning sauna and gym Sweatbox is re-opening this Monday (1 Apr). Owners Mark and Jason Ford and their team of hard working house elves have created something truly special with a massive refurbishment from top to bottom. The West End venue will be open from 4pm on Monday, which is free for under 25s with ID anyway and for the first two weeks they are offering a buy one get one free offer when every visitor gets a free pass for a second visit. Your RVT weekend
This weekend at the Boyz Award-winning Royal Vauxhall Tavern starts on Thursday (28 Mar) with Butch, Please! The party night for lesbians and their friends of all genders. Friday is the marvellous Push The Button and on Saturday, the always bonkers, always glorious Duckie. The weekend comes skidding to a climax on Sunday when the unsinkable Myra DuBois provides the cabaret and Simon Le Vans and Craig Jones the tunes.
Enjoy two shows at Above The Stag
Right now you can see two different shows at the Boyz Award-winning Above The Stag Theatre in Vauxhall. The UK’s only full time LGBT+ theatre has Romance Romance in the main theatre, a new version of the classic musical which has been tweaked to feature gay couples as the leads. Disabled Queer and Here at The Two Brewers
This Thursday the team from Disabled Queer And Here are back at The Two Brewers in the Club Bar for another fantastic night of amazing, entertaining and informative cabaret. Hosted by organiser Sugarcube there’s performances from Ebony Rose Dark, Scala La More and more. Plus there’s a Q&A session and raffle and much more. The doors open at 7pm and tickets are just £5, come down and support this brilliant night to show that our community really is a welcome place for all LGBT+ people.
Chariots mega weekends
Chariots sauna, located in Vauxhall just 2 minutes walk from the station is Europe’s biggest gay sauna. Not only does it have everything you need for a good time, two steam rooms, jacuzzis, two dry saunas, showers, locker rooms, bars, lounges, darkrooms and a lot of frisky guys, but it’s open every day and at weekends is open right through from Friday midday to Monday 8am… Yes that’s 68 hours of letting off steam and having a quite pleasant time… see you there!
Cry Havoc at Park Theatre
Cry Havoc by American playwright Tom Coash is the powerful story of a gay couple living in Egypt who need to make life changing decisions in a society that doesn’t make it easy to be LGBT+. The play is on from Wednesday (27 Mar) until 20 April and you can get tickets from parktheatre.co.uk.
Fanny Burns at Sundowners

If you are in the Royal Brough of Greenwich then head to The George and Dragon where The Duchess knows a good cabaret act when she sees one. This week we get Tanya Hyde on Thursday (28 Mar), Friday is Eva Iglesias and on Saturday Tanya is back for a second show. On Sunday you get three fab acts, Mary Mac, Miss Jason and The Duchess.
Undetectable at The King’s Head Theatre

Backstreet Saturday
Due to the huge popularity of Unzipped at legendary fetish venue The Backstreet at Mile End the team are bow adding an extra session on Saturday evening. From 6pm to 10pm you can get naked or wear fetish gear and hang out with those sexy dudes.
Missing Bar closed for refit
Don’t panic LGBT+ folk in Birmingham, yes the marvellous Missing Bar is closed, but it’s for a glam refit. The hugely popular venue will be back in early April when they are ready to pull off the covers and reveal all.
