Play at The Two Brewers

Would you like to play a game? This weekend you can at The Brewers starting with Wilma Ballsdrop’s Pride Bingo to be exact, which is this Thursday (30 May) at 7pm at The Two Brewers followed later by cabaret from Lola Lasagne. On Friday the London Titans are back with another hilarious session of Snatch Ball, hosted by Tracy LaBouche and there’s cabaret later from Drag With No Name. On Saturday it’s the one and only Sandra and on Sunday, who else but The Power of Four with Myra DuBois, Miss Jason, Mary Mac and Sandra.

Summer has arrived at Ku

Those gorgeous people at Ku have decided that Summer has officially started and who are we to argue? This Friday (31 May) the amazing DJ and influencer Giulia Henne, all the way from Brazil, will be taking over the decks in Klub from 12.30am. Stefanos, the host with the most of everything and Ku PR prince has also told us that they are working on a set of amazing parties and collaborations with great brands including a Ku Pride to remember.

What’s happening at Above The Stag

Right now there’s two amazing shows at Above The Stag, Fanny and Stella, the true story of two gay men in Victorian London and Boom Bang-A-Bang, Jonathan Harvey’s Eurovision comedy. Both shows have tickets on sale at the LGBT theatre’s website plus you can pre-order tickets for Boy Toy, a new dance show inspired by the classic comic ballet Coppélia, which opens at the end of June and Closer to Heaven, the musical written by Jonathan Harvey and The Pet Shop Boys which opens in early July.  Tickets at abovethestag.com

Coventry Pride at The Yard

Coventry Pride is fast approaching, it happens next weekend, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June. The theme for this year’s festival is #SuperHeroesofPride, encouraging everyone to celebrate the super hero within them and diversity in all its forms. Not surprisingly The Yard is at the very heart of the action and they have a fantastic line-up including Nadine Coyle, Rozzalla, Charlie Hides as Lisa Q Jones, Kym Gazelle and loads more. Plus this Friday (31 May) they have cabaret from the fabulous Miss Penny.

Sweatbox Mondays

If you want some fun on a Monday… and after all who doesn’t want to get the week going well… then head to Sweatbox, the Boyz Award-winning gym and sauna where guys 25 and under get in for free with photo ID. Wahoo!

Essex Pride is coming

This year’s Essex Pride is happening on Saturday 15 June at Central Park in Chelmsford from midday. Now in its 16th year this is always a fun day with loads on offer with some big name live acts including Sam Bailey, Samantha Bailey, Lee Mead, N-Trance and Cynthia Lee Fontaine from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Plus there’s cabaret from Drag With No Name, Miss Jason and more with tribute acts and a whole day of fun. Tickets are available from essexpride.org

Head to The RVT

There’s another jam-packed weekend ahead at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern starting on Friday (31 May) with Push The Button. The crazy pop queens are once again celebrating one of their faves, the brilliant Carly Rae Jepson plus a bunch of the best Canadian pop from Shania to queen Celine. Saturday will belong, as it always does to the mighty Duckie and on Sunday your Queen of Cabaret is the amazing Son of a Tutu plus music from Simon Le Vans and guests. 

Cabaret at The Old Ship

This weekend The Old Ship have three amazing cabaret acts with The Boy George Experience on Friday (31 May). On Saturday
it’s the Boyz Award-winning Vixens and on Sunday the marvellous Miss Penny on stage.

Treat yourself to a bottomless brunch

If you are in the West End on Saturday then we have some great news. Hungerford House, the building that has Circa The Club downstairs by Embankment station, has a totally delicious bar and kitchen on the ground floor and it’s open for brunch from 11pm to 5pm. We’ve had a taste and the food is gorgeous and you can now grab a bottomless brunch for just £30 for 90 minutes of pure indulgence. Plus there’s DJs playing sound funk, it’s a great way to spend a Saturday.

Gareth’s Dating Disasters

Gareth’s Dating Disasters is a fringe musical cabaret and bingo show that tells the story of Gareth Edward as he navigates the brave new world of gay dating. It’s full of amusing anecdotes, songs and perhaps a bit of late-night flirting. You can even dump Gareth by text message at any point during the show. Bona bingo at White Swan

This coming Wednesday (5 Jun) is the next session of the hilarious Miss Ross’s Bona Bingo at The White Swan. There’s prizes galore and it starts at 9pm.

Fun at CMYK

There’s always something fun happening at the gorgeous CMYK Bar in Wimbledon.  This Thursday (30 May) is the Student Takeover night complete with lip-sync battle, drinks offers and more hosted by Monroe Adams. On Saturday they welcome back the brilliant Vanity Nightmare for songs and laughs plus hostess Carmen Getit and DJ Big Marky and it will be open till late.
