Clapham madness at The Two Brewers
There’s madness down in Clapham and we love it, it’s cabaret, it’s madness, it’s cabaret madness. The fun starts on Thursday (6 Jun) with Dave Lynn and carries on Friday night with the one and only Lola Lasagne, and then Saturday night is party night and Marsha Mallow is in charge of the laughs. The weekend climaxes… sort of… with The Power of Four on Sunday when Myra DuBois, Miss Jason, Mary Mac and Sandra deliver the big laughs.
Coventry Pride at The Yard
This weekend is Coventry Pride and right in the middle of everything is The Yard located on Bull Yard in the city centre. On Saturday (8 Jun) and Sunday the super venue have a huge outside stage with bars, street performers and an amazing cabaret and music line-up and as if that wasn’t enough, it’s free entry. On Saturday you get Nadine Coyle, Rozalla, Kelly Wilde and more plus on Sunday, top of the bill is Charlie Hides as Lisa Q Jones plus Kym Mazelle and much more. A bumper RVT weekend
The weekend starts early at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Thursday (6 Jun) with the first Drag Idol semi Final, six venue champions fight it out for a place in the grand final. Friday has two events starting with a very special screening of Episode One of the brand new Tales of The City TV series, with permission from Netflix and the man himself, yes Armistead Maupin will be there and taking questions after the screening! That’s followed by cabaret and clubbing crazy from The LipSinkers. Two shows at ATS
Above The Stag in Vauxhall is not only the UK’s only full time LGBT+ theatre, but it’s also a gorgeous venue for a night out and the winner of the Boyz Award for the best theatrical venue for the past three years. Right now they have two amazing and very different shows on offer. In the larger main theatre space Fanny and Stella, the engaging musical based on the true story of two gay men in Victorian London. Balls and Baga at Sundowners
This weekend there’s two fun nights at Sundowers in Margate starting on Friday (7 Jun) with their Ball Pit Party where you get to dive into the fun. On Saturday the entertainment goes up several elegant notches when the one and only Baga Chipz takes to the stage.

There’s two big name cabaret acts at The Old Ship this weekend, starting on Friday (7 Jun) with the brilliant Charlie Hides. Saturday sees the bonafide cabaret legend that is Dave Lynn taking to the Limehouse stage.
Halfway treats
Buckle up kids it’s going to be another fantastic weekend ahead at Halfway II Heaven starting with the gorgeous Tanya Hyde on Friday (7 Jun) on stage at 10pm. There’s another day of yummy treats on Saturday starting with Mrs Moore at 4pm followed by The Bette Rinse Takeover and later on at 10pm it’s The Vixens with hunky DJ Justin Swift. Sunday belongs to CK aka Crystal and Kelly and on Monday we get the lovely Stephanie Von Clitz at 8.30pm.
Vincent River
Vincent River is the powerful two handed play by Philip Ridley that deals with the aftermath of a horrific homophobic murder. Starring Louise Jameson (Doctor Who, Eastenders) and Thomas Mahy it’s gaining rave reviews and is on at Trafalgar Studios until 22 June.
Madonna Party
On Saturday 22 June the Madonna Fan Party team are back at G-A-Y Late for their 30th event and this year it comes just after the release of her brand new album, Madame X. This is a free event, no ticket required from 2.30pm to 10.30pm and it’s actually blessed by the lady herself as it’s listed on the star’s official website, madonna.com
Party at The White Swan
If you want some East End fun then head to The White Swan in Limehouse where there’s some great nights on offer including the Open Mic night every Thursday with CJ. DJ Matt Unique will be rocking the decks on Friday and on Saturday it’s DJ Jason Prince.
80s at Rose and Crown
What better way to celebrate the start of the weekend than with a large serving of classic 80s hits. This Friday ( 7 Jun) at Ye Olde Rose and Crown in Greenwich it’s marvellous 80s hits all the way from 7pm to late.
This Island’s Mine
Philip Osments’s play This Island’s Mine deals with the introduction of Section 28 and life for LGBT + people in Thatcher’s Britain. This brilliant and emotional play perfectly captures the feel of 80s Britain and is on until Saturday (8 Jun) at the King’s Head Theatre. Tickets at kingsheadtheatre.com
