Last week we attended both London Drag Idol Semi Finals starting with The Royal Vauxhall Tavern on Thursday.
Hosted by previous winner Son of a Tutu, we witnessed six amazing acts doing battle royal for that place in the final. In the end the judges chose Poppycock from The Two Brewers as the winner who becomes the first finalist and Alfie Ordinary who goes to the Wild Card Semi Final at Central Station on Tuesday (18 Jun). On Saturday night Eden Bar in Birmingham was the location of the second semi hosted by another former champ, Danny Beard, and at that one Scott Lund representing Via in Manchester won the spot in the final with Chanel No5 taking the runner up spot.
