The third Semi Final was at a packed Admiral Duncan on Sunday night hosted by another previous winner, the one and only Baga Chipz.
Another six acts from all over the country were present and correct in a hard fought battle for the third spot in the Final. The winner and going to The Two Brewers on Friday 28th June was Karla Bear representing Halfway II Heaven while the runner up was #Joe from Central Station.
This all means that we now have three finalists and the fourth will be chosen this coming Tuesday (18 Jun) at the Wild Card Semi Final which is at Central Station in Kings Cross, hosted by Victoria Sponge at 8pm. The Wild Card will feature the three runners up from the Semi Finals plus a couple of other acts that the Drag Idol committee have picked from the competition. This will be a great night at Central Station as they fight for that last space in the Final and don’t forget that two previous winners, Vileda Moppe and Felix Le Freak have come through the Wild Card. Snap a lash everyone.
